Thats a good question... never really thought of it before. My estimation is about S$6000 thats about US$4200. I bought my Sideshow stuff solely from a local retail shop. I became their 'Elite customer' lately. Hah hah. The next time when I am back at the shop, I will have got to check how much have I spent.

The reward points are a good (and sometimes painful) indication of the expenditures since 2006/2007. Of course that excludes shipment costs and a large percentage of VAT.
Besides that there's the stuff bought from other companies, or at retailers, fairs, secondary market

Its going to make collecting SOOO much easier since I wont have to rely on washing cars every weekend. Also getting into the world of prop replicas, I just know Im gonna need a good cash flow

I'd say, I have spent about a little over $4k do date (since 2005) and I have about $2,500 on pre order right now.... Hopefully I can keep all of them, or find the room!!!

Since I started back in Jan 07, I've spent a total of $6674AUD, tho thats not just SS, there is a bit of Weta and one sword, but it is all high-end statues, etc.
However, based on local RRP (had I paid it), the collection so far would have cost $9000AUD. Also, come this week, my Weta Dalek will arrive, so thats going to add around another $350AUD.
So, yeah, its been a bit of money, but then at the same time, I have reduced my DVD purchases and bought very little in the way of computer stuff. So overall my spending hasn't done a massive jump, but it has increased, not that this level is going to continue.

No idea what my total spent on SS is. My most expensive SS piece was the Emperor 1:1 bust. Least expensive was the Trick 'r Treat Sam 15" vinyl figure, which I actually got for free using rewards points. Only had to pay shipping. Thought it would make a cool Halloween decoration.

I tend to average about 300-500 a month on collections. add that up the last 8 + years, That number has increased since 2000 Prior to that it was easily 200 a month from the early 90's. granted not all was sideshow obviously, but collection quality items regardless. I have been obtaining collectible items for-ev-er foooor eeeeeh verrrrrrrr

hmm....i think i'm well over that. before i met SS i spent a lot of money on the Master Replicas 1:1 props. since SS my interests have fluctuated greatly. recently i've been buying up the SW 1:1 busts and now slowly moving to solely 1:1 purchases.
