Actually, the value should be reassessed. I put myself on the waitlist for this over a year ago and just received it in the mail today which obviously means they're not "Sold Out" quite yet or HotToys just sent another batch of 'em.

Didnt the same thing happen a while ago with Hicks and Apone though? They were 2nd chance offers that came outta nowhere.

I don't know about fair prices for these Preds, but, I can tell you that I payed well over $220 for the older preds which I ordered from Sideshow, after shipping and taxes.
The Lost pred I ordered from them was closer to $240... So, I don't blame people for cranking up the price on the secondary market. These things are already expensive when bought from a reseller. The only way to buy them cheep is when they get released, and when bought from a HK seller I belive. After that, you just have to pay what people ask, if you really want them. Or hope you get lucky and stumble over a cheap offer.

There is no reason to even own the regular one unless you just can't stand the crappy blood paint aps on the BD. Some ******* at Frank & Sons has the regular for $350, and sold the BD for $250 to my brother, and we even told him to his face what a mistake he was making with the price tags the week before.

Indeed, and besides that you could always try professionally cleaning up the blood or even try making it look better: I used some Glo Paint on my unassembled BD Predator 2 and the blood is now glowing in the dark - really cool - can't wait to assemble and display this bad boy.

I wish but passed on assembling him and Machiko yet, due to lack of space for now. I'm moving to the new house later 2009 and I already have custom made cabinets for my collection

Not sure. I put myself on the waitlist knowing it was a long shot and likely never to convert. Irony is, I wound up trading my SSE Frank/Wolf dio for a P2 BD Pred about two months ago and since it'd been so long since I'd done the waitlist, I'd forgotten. So now I have two.
