Some of those episodes really do have some relevance to this day. I like the one with the left leaning, anti-GI Joe investigative journalist. . .who ends up being a Cobra terrorist in disguise. But you do have to understand that a lot of people don't want to think, much less TALK about this sort of thing, to be unplugged so to speak. A lot of it is true and alarming, but sometimes you get so hung up on it that you have to just step back and take a break from it. Because otherwise, thinking on this stuff for too long will drive you crazy.

So yes, it's interesting to bring this stuff up and complain, but to take any action on it is seriously not worth the effort, unless you're willing to exit out of society, stop being a consumer and go live in a cave somewhere, there is nothing we can do about it. NOTHING. High society will always dominate the masses. Sucks, but this is the life of a peon in this reality.

Oh I understand completely...to not think is to be asleep and to be unconscious in life.People are distracted and entertainment drunk,only caring about themselves.It's easy to not think about it because we are conditioned not to.

Cobra is the perfect symbol of everything that is wrong with modern military organizations, PMCs, and corrupt government. Basically it boils down to using the corporate model on everything... including treating soldiers as cheap labor in a perpetual war-for-profit scheme.

Interesting article. The one about all young girls wanting to be famous is much more relevant today. Nearly all live-action kids shows have actresses who sing as well as release albums, it's not about their characters or the show anymore, that's just a way to introduce the actors get their names known to sell "music" to kids and perpetuate the "need to be famous above all else" mentality.

If you look around today, it's almost as if the feminism movement never happened. So many girls and young women just want to get famous singing or modelling through reality TV, marry celebrities and spend money. They cake themselves in fakery to reach the ideal of a perfect easy life

Everybody wants to have their cake and eat it in their own selfish way, and once they get put in someone else's shoes, they start singing entirely different tunes. That's not a political argument. Actually it's people won't do anything or then wake up before it's too late and honestly,we get what we deserve for it.
