How to apply realistic blood and dirt to a body?

This is my first post so please be gentle

I have recently purchased a Daryl Dixon figure from the walking dead.
BUT! The body is clean , so I would like the arms and neck to look bloody and dirty I would like the same for my
Bruce willis die hard figure.
Is there any specific method I should use or is it ridiculously hard?

Hi mate

its not that hard to do.

for the blood a make up sponge is your best bet and that will work on the boots as well

hi mate

yes dab it on kind of like dry brushing, add the paint to the sponge and then dab most of it off first and then dab on the figure if you have a look on my page I did a die hard figure on the first day and then the last couple of pages I re did him
