Thanks Spider, darkness and jedi1 i glad to pass the info, this is great to get some feedback!jedi1 dont let the warriors from hot toys fool you there pretty crapy, they all broke but one ,so i glued them together. They still look very cool to me though no doubt....

Okay heres the 3rd step.....
I will use the smallier dio as an example
So i add air drying clay to the wood wall as you can see and i did add the clay when it was flat but it does bond to wet wood.
Ive chosen a simple shape

Then when that drys add a thin layer of plaster. You would think the plaster would crack or chip but if you prime it after it drys it will absorb it and make it very strong.

Painting is easy for the none painters.Paint royel blue with a dash of black flat paint(just alittle black so the blue is not to bright)paint the whole dio or alien parts and let it dry. Then get black gloss oil paint and apply in small area's and wipe it off with a rag or shirt(you should use clothes you really deem as trash). You want to wipe it off right away because all we are trying to do is fill the cracks the rag doesnt catch. And the black gloss will shine in the cracks giving a living look.Once that drys after one to two days your going to take a dry brush with grey or grey primer and lightly hit the top of the design very lightly with little paint.
You may toy with the color idea and stlye as you see what it can do.

Theres more ,let me know if ive lost anyone
