Look, the thing with focusing onto the Predators is pretty much making them anti heroes. When we "study" them, and learn from them from their prospective, they stop becoming villians, but more like anti heroes. We end up with a connection with them, rather then fearing them.
In Predator, we only got glimpses. It was still imposing, and only added to the threat. Predator 2 started that whole anti-hero thing, sorta. We focused too much on the creature, rather then the characters. I want to get a glimpse at the Predator...not a whole story on the Predator...which is what AvP-R did. I dont want that again.


That's my problem. And when you throw in females into the mix, that creates another issue all together. More gross fanboys will continue to add their own nasty spin to the Predator culture...I do not want to see Predator ****ies, and Predator sex....blah.

Have you ever been read a story of human girl on male Predator sex? It's horrible.

wow............who said anything about Pred sex and Pred nudity? Pred females can be better killers than the males, and smarter too, instead of seeing most of the Preds making the same stupid mistakes that have gotten them killed time after time. The audience needs to see something different or else this franchise goes nowhere, but around in circles. I'm not saying that there needs to be an all female Pred movie without humans, but if we dont see something substantially different, it wont attract new ppl to go and see it.

its fine that they came up with this new breed of Predators, but going forward, they need to continue to change things up to keep the interest level up.

No way, I just bought that book and thought it was awesome!
Anyway, here's my idea for a movie. It would follow a plot loosely-based on the game Predator: Concrete Jungle (which I thought had a pretty sweet storyline). Anyway, things are a bit different...


We have a young Pred in training and a supervising Elder (could be his father or grandfather) that has taught him to fight and raised him. These two travel to Earth during WWII so that the youngblood may experience his first hunt in the hot and violent times of the 30's and 40's. The youngblood stacks up a decent body count, all under the watchful eye of his Elder. Soon, the German officials become suspicious and spooked. They send in their special forces to track down whoever is killing everyone, and soon they become wise to our Predator's presence. This special military team and their ferocious Nazi leader capture and kill the Elder, forcing the youngblood to retreat and to call in for the ship. In his haste, he leaves behind some of his equipment, along with the corpse of his beloved Elder.

Ashamed and terrified of the atrocities (not just against his Elder, but against innocent humans) he witnesses during his time on Earth, he tries to make a new life for himself on the home world. He designs weapons as sort of a black smith, because his dishonor could not land him a more superior line of work. The weapons and blades he designs can be used by the Axerator (a hulking behemoth Predator designed by Narin, I believe). I personally want to throw in some bright red laser lenses. Anyway, Axerator and other warrior Preds test their strength in gladiator-esque arenas. This section of the movie would show us more of Predator culture and things like that.

But back to the main point. 100 years later, our disgraced Predator learns from the Elders of the Clan that the humans on Earth have used his forgotten technology to create stronger weapons and methods of travel. Those who have acquired and bought this tech on the black market have risen to power on Earth. Whoever does not own any of the tech is inferior. Throughout the years, other clans have tried to hunt and destroy the greedy and powerful men, but were killed by their own weaponry. So, these leaders plan to launch a full-scale assault on the Yautja species once and for all, by using mapping data found on the equipment our Pred left. As a result, the fully-grown and experienced ex-youngblood returns to Earth to finish his what he started. To finish his century-old hunt and restore honor to his people, before countless clans are wiped out in the name of an ancient, rotting Nazi empire destroyed by a once-young Predator in training.


As I said before, I'd like Predator movies to be dynamic and stylishly-shot. Kind of like AVP, but with a better storyline. Awesome deaths, comic-book style stunts, with a lot of torque. Oh, and the music has to be epic. Our Predator needs to be badass. Not like Wolf, though. If the audience sees what he has gone through and endured, then they will agree that this guy is pissed and is ready to put to rest those who have screwed with what matters to him.

the only thing that could be confusing about a story like that is that at the end of AVPR, the humans get a hold of Pred technology, which I assume Fox will build off of if they make a new AVP film....................maybe leading to a future where humans have Pred like Tech, and the Preds are pissed, or something along that line

Well, Predators takes place as if P2 never happened so... they can shun it off. Plus I don't think very many people will be pissed that AVP-R was overlooked .

You know how I will make a predator movie man? This is how, on the prisoners escape and crashed land on earth. In a big city, not a small town with a population of 10, the predators track him down and all hell will break out. The prisoner would be a mean mutha, his right hand is a giant claw and he needs blood to live. So he killed the humans. The Predators would attack gang members, police officers because they carry weapons so the PRedators would take that as a challenge.Mr. Black wont die, he would be a super predator, he will move much faster than the original. Lastly, no CGI, all latex and animatrix works. The death scenes would be gory and action pack.

You know I actually like this concept. Pehaps have Predators take prisioner of a rouge Predator that broke the code (like killing the unarmed or something, a Pred that kills for for the sake of killing and not for the hunt) but instead of having him land in the city, have him land in Iraq or Afganistan and have the Rouge kill pretty much everything that moves and the other Preds will arrive on earth to re-capture him and in the process kill a few humans if only to keep their existance a secret. The Rouge will kill off a the other Preds and then the main human character will kill the Rouge.

Anyway...I think this book could make the coolest Predator movie.

It's got native american folk lore, stylish dream sequences, a cool main character, the army, gore, and a Predator ripping a sheep apart.

I love this book.

is this the one where he torched the mini forest as well? and ripped out the preds head too? reminds me of the recent movie too.

I'd like to see Predators in space for once. Not on a different planet that still looks like Earth, but in space, on a space ship, or in a space station. And I want to see Colonial Marines being picked off.

There was a forest on fire...and he does cut off the dead Predators head off at the end...after he's killed it.


Also, you didnt bring up sex Azur, but people will. Not the filmmakers, but the fans....I dont want to hear about Predator sexy time.

most of those things you want did make it in the illustrated novels/comics.

not jack the ripper(hunting harlots for preds wont sell) per se but spring heeled jack.
