Yes, I had seen that too. It would be gorgeous to have an accurate face sculpt for Kane, but the Moebius suits on these figures are a price in itself. I so hope that the PVC spacesuits are convincing. Fabrics would have been cooler. The base with egg is a nice touch also, even if the egg is not completely accurate.

Just pre-ordered both figures. Looked all over the net, and found Marc at Alter Ego had the best price if you take into consideration shipping. ABC Express was a buck cheaper per figure but they want $35.00 for each for shipping. Alter Ego shipes the pair for under $22.00. I've been buying from Marc ever since he came on line, and found him to be very nice to deal with. You won't find a better dealer.

Just a small correction. At ABC the first figure may cost $35. The second and subsequent figure/s cost $20.

What's interesting is, if you look carefully, the heads in the early shots we'd already seen are just generic heads with a base shape, so HT has since taken these portrait shots. Perhaps SSC pushed them to release the images, since they always do fine with their pending approval notes on product images.

Wow, my shipping for both figures was only $9 and some change from Sideshow. But I am in Las Vegas, and they are only down the road in California.

I'm kind of disapointed that Sideshow had the images up last night which most of us ordered based upon, and today they changed the images to the "pending" notice. The Dallas head sculpt sold me instantly. Not that I would change my order based on a mildly different sculpt, but I believe many other would do so. Especially when you consider how far off the likenesses were for many of the marines.

Just my two cents, I'm still jazzed about this preorder...

Hopefully they'll have production images up before they ship. But it's another reason to buy direct - if you don't like the finished product you can always cancel. Personally I'm buying for the suits and the sculpts are just icing if they're great - same reason I got the marines.

...............i really hope that the portraits are what they will go with. that is going to be one awesome display. the gears in my brain are already turning with a idea for a shadow box display. might be rather large though.
