HT ALIENS Warrior redux?

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what this pic shows?

I've gone over it a hundred times, and it's NOT the Snap Kit sculpt.

Similar, but it's not the Snap Kit.

Are we "possibly" getting a NEW 1:6 Alien Warrior?
Or is this just a Photoshopped pic from HT?

Thoughts?

It's not from any pic I've ever seen.

I'm just wondering if it's an amalgamation of different pieces.

I didnt mean it was a still from the film. I just meant its prob just a generic alien image like we see on books, posters and banners all over the net. To be honest I think it looks the same as the image used for the Treehouse Kids toy packaging.

I hope so. I have the original one, and whenever I touch it, it falls apart. I'd like HT to make a new one that's sturdy, and won't deteriorate.

I have never seen that Aliens design before. Where did that image come from? The source would help determine what it is.

It looks to me (and this is taking into account my wishful thinking) like Hot Toys decided to give us a one-two punch with the release of the Big Chap. I'm betting that they reused the Big Chap body they made, and resculpted the head to also give us an Aliens Warrior (which is the way they should have done it). That may explain why the forehead area on this Warrior looks too flat though. That's closer to how tall it is under the dome of the Big Chap. This will be far better than the first Warrior, but because of that forehead, it's still not perfect.

Comic Con is going to be big just because of these if this is for real though.

Why does everybody want to slap DX on everything. I can see how DX applies to the Joker and Batman figure, but an Alien figure...

Considering it is just like that 1/4 bust pic of the Alien, it does look like it might be an Aliens version of that, but I'm still wishing.

Doesn't matter anyway, cause if Sideshow has a 1/4 Aliens Warrior maquetter at SDCC, that will trump all other Aliens pieces for my collection. I may even get rid of a few lesser things.

I should have put behind my comment about the Alien DX.

I dont want or need an Aliens DX, but with HT you can never be too sure.

Im still leaning towards it being a bust though.


As for the HT DX line. Ill get the Joker and Batman and after that I may get a DX Jack Sparrow if they do him as well.

I also wouldnt mind them doing a DX Edward Scissorhands with and alternate ripped shirt and suspenders...And Depps LIKENESS.

You seriously don't know what the AVP-R Alien looks like. Besides, they already have a 1/6 AVP-R Alien. And these shoulders look nothing alike.

That would be AMAZING!!! I'd especially love to see how they treat the 'moving eyes' on a DX Alien!
