I like how HT responded to this issue. I do hope it's an isolated thing.

I still have the two on order, but I really am thinking about dumping HT's Deunan in favor of Takara's version. The anime HT head is superior, but the HT suit just doesn't fit right on that body.

Yeah, I saw that, too. Silent Kenshi on OSW just got a Deunan Knute and he is having the same problems with the rubber body suit. I really want to give Hot Toys the benefit of the doubt so hopefully they will be able to rectify this problem.

I spoke too soon.
Now this is really depressing. HT is going to tell us that they didn't notice the rubber melts when in contact if the body is left in a pose for more then a day? I really wanted to own Appleseed figures, now it looks like only Takara's version is worth it. I hope Takara eventually releases a Briareos.

Damn. I don't know what to do. I might have enough for Deunan, but the rubber body issue is worrisome. I think I'll cancel these two and wait to hear if anyone else has any issues.
Does anyone know when the Takara version is supposed to release?

I canceld both this weekend. Can't afford them right now, which is propably a good thing with the outfit issues.

Getting the 15-20 day notice for Palpatine/Sidious forced my hand. I cancelled my Deunan order. I'll see what happens later.

By the way, I think they may have used Armor All on those figures. Someone over at Rebelscum mentioned something to that effect. He posted a link to onesixthwarriors.com, but I can't read it becausethe site is getting upgrades.

Been playing around with mine for the last 24hrs, put them in some poses that really stretched the knees, elbows, groin etc and I've had no problems at all. I guess time will tell but at the moment I think they're pretty freakin amazing!

For me it's all about timing, if you want the reviews to be relevant then ya gotta get' em quick. Though to be honest with the pound strong at the moment getting stuff to the UK is similar from both the US and Far East.
And yes they're in kit form like the Prds, but you'll be pleased to hear they're a whole lot easier to assemble-
