got Dallas and he is gorgeous!! although the helmet lights aren't working!! do both wires on the back of the helmet need to be connected? i'm unable to find a place for the thicker wire to connect to. help please!!!

Ah shoite. This problem with lights not working is worrying me as it seems at least two people have reported it here. My Dallas is due soon and I'm worried.

Got mine on Thursday, no problems with him so far. The wires leading from the helmet have nothing to do with the lighting system. The switch for the helmet lights is on the helmet. Hot Toys did a great job in hiding the switches for the lights. They really blend in with the helmet and pack.

Check behind the styrofoam packing. There is an instruction sheet taped to the back of it. I had trouble trying to get the back pack lights working until I found the instruction sheet.

Are all 4 lights on the backpack suppose to light up? On mine, the red is really bright and the yellow is very dim and the other two are not even lit up.

Yep, all four lights should light up. Mine are all really bright. Actually I am really surprised at how bright all of the lights are.

finally............mine is working............kept pushing the button in and giving a light tap to the back pack. works everytime now. i love it. my base is a lil warped but other than that im pretty satisfied. & that helmet light will damn near blind you :lol.

you know mine had a similar problem as to where you had to keep the button on the helmet pushed but the light on top was a bit dim and the inside didnt light at all, so i got one of the small screwdrivers and started messing around with it like unscrewing it a little then try the light. now lights perfectly with just a push....give it a try it should work.

it worked!! i opened up the helmet, and looked at the batteries. they were in wrong - after flipping them and having the positives the right way, i blinded myself with the helmet's light once turned on.

AMAZING figure!!!

Thanks everyone.

Fixed my Dallas' backpack lights by actually taking one out and they're brighter than ever!!!

The batteries look crappy and slightly corroded as well...but ugh, it's such a pain getting the straps loose and everything just to fix it!

awesome! so wait, you actually removed one of the batteries and the lights are brighter now??

so how many batteries do you have in there now?

I have two batteries in the backpack as opposed to the original three. Two of the batteries looked slightly corroded. They really looked like crap batteries :monkey4 I spent several minutes trying to re-arrange the three batteries to get the lights to shine brighter and just for kicks I tried out just two batteries and it worked! The lights shine brighter than they did with three.

I think the crappy batteries weren't getting a good connection with three, so it worked with two.

Before you send your figure back, try messing with the batteries on the helmet and backpack. The backpack can be a pain to remove with all the straps so make sure to have a pair of tweezers handy when you start putting all the straps back on and together as it'll help pulling them through the keepers.
