Don't forget that HT can produce Kato's work for a lot less the cost. Kato was doing this on his own, with materials i am sure he paid more for than HT would have. HT buys in bulk and has multiple seamstress' working on these. My guess would be HT can make the suits for pennies on the dollar, however; that's not to say they didn't pay a pretty penny for Kato's work itself. The costs of which may be absorbed in the cost of the figure itself.

Hopefully they hire his talents for future products. His work is great.

Y'know that may be the first picture comparison where I've seen how a new Kato-tailored suit might be something I care about. The DX coat looks a bit round and fluffy there compared to the real thing.

i don't think we will get this in 2012.
i'm counting on it 1st or 2nd quarter 2013.
but it will be awesome if we get it at the end of the year.

That's one of the things which will make Kato's overcoat (and the overall appearance) much different and better. Unless you are displaying him in vest+shirt only, the overcoat is actually quite significant.
