I'm happy for those who missed out on DX01, it's a good opportunity to get a HT Joker and not pay secondary market prices.

It's not for me though, I'll just suffer through life with my DXBR01<sigh>....

Nothing wrong with the DX01, but I do think this release is clearly better.

I guess I need to see more then. But yeah, the DX01 is still looking good. I'm sure the outfit will be much better here though.

It looks to to me like a neutral (or maybe a touch determined) expression with the mouth possibly a little to the side, in a slight smirk. It's tough to tell.

I wasn't impressed with it at first, it looked bland and like it wouldn't be capable of any sort of menacing look, the eyebrows seemed too relaxed, but after looking at it a few times more I like it now. I think now that it will be capable of the same menace as you could get with DX01.

I tend to agree. I wasn't crazy about it at first but it is growing on me too.

The thing is they only really show one side of his face completely. Hard to tell if it is a one-sided smirk or a full smirk/subtle smile. The eyebrows to me seem more of a scowl to me than being relaxed.

At any rate as long as the accessory list is good I will prolly be buying this one. Having missed out on the DX01 and BR.

Let's take a head count on the head sculpt. It sounds like people who don't have a DX Joker think this lame sculpt is the best thing ever. But we who own DX01 are expecting a much higher product. I'm disapointed at HT. Its gonna take much much more than fancy thousand dollar taylored out fit to make me wanna buy this. As far as I'm conserned its mixed blessings. With all the awsome stuff coming out I no longer have to worrie about buy another Joker.

For all thoes who came late to the DXJoker party......ENJOY! For all of us who have this offering already.....ON WARD WE MARCH TO GREENER PASTURES!

This is what I expected to be honest. I'm just curious as to what the extras will be.

What they've revealed tonight is great in my opinion. The changes are subtle, but add so much to the likeness. I kind of regret selling my DX01, but there's no way I'm spending the ridiculous amount that it's going for to get it back.

strange, i always thought that ht has just too much skin texture, but i guess it's just my taste.

I prefer skin texture made by painting and not by sculpting! Then his skin i real life will look like Moon surface... He was young with smooth skin...

Right now I'm not thinking that it decimates the BR or DX01 sculpts...which I kinda thought it would. Its going to make it difficult deciding whether or not to sell DX01. Especially when I like the expressions on those previous sculpts too.

I have the DX01 headsculpt and this destroys it. Nevertheless, this one is not an amazing sculpt, just decent. I have never liked any of the sculpts before this one. This is the only one that has any likeness to Ledger IMO.

I have this to say to you... This sculpt is amazing and I remember that expression from the movie, seems very much like the scene when batman tells the joker to "let her go" ...."Very poor choice of words"

Dunno if its just speculation or not but the DX01 had 2 headsculpts so I don't think its out of the question. This will hopefully be 2 clown heads this time though.

Honestly for all the hoopla over custom Joker sculpts on this board, they are a lot better than any HT sculpt IMO.

I don't think it looks spectacular in the shot either, need more pics though as you say!

I'm kind of in a similar situation with my DX bats, I know I should probabaly sell it as there is 1:6 and 1:4 versions coming out which will no doubt beat the DX, but it's still my favourite figure!
