Cool. I like it.

With 'we' meaning, you. :lol

My go to iconic purple outfit Joker - is Jack.

My go to Heath Joker - is BRJ.

Both are so different from each other, & yet such complete personifications of their analogues.. they're all I need.

Actually I meant everyone in general, not just me.

I can see why you like the BRJ but it is not good enough for me but it is good.

THey didn't have missed anything.
YOU think they missed the mark.

It's till a great sculpt and how can you judge 100% just by seing one teaser pics? :dunno

and BTW I remember you talked ____ behind adam's back after receiving your head and now you just love him again?

To be fair, and lord knows Teddy and I have had our issues here, there and everywhere, the head Adam sent him wasn't worth what he was charged for it. Period. Teddy had additional work done on it after he got it, and it still wasn't up to par, so I bought it off of him. After I got it, it took a lot of work, paint-wise, to bring it even close to Adam's other work.

I don't know why it was the way it was, but it was an anomaly among a rather amazing group of works. He never denied Adam's talent...just what Adam gave him after he paid the same as others who received much higher quality products.

As for the 2.0 sculpt, the sculpt itself looks good and matches the shot they based it on.

However the skin texture is as appalling as it was on the DX-01 and the hair is still way too thick. Ledger's hair was a lot thinner. The first issue can be fixed with paint, but they've still never replicated their best Joker hair, which was arguably on the V1.

Thank you :duff

Nice to see that after like you say the issues we have had.

you have pics of the mods you added?

All I did was repaint it.

The hair was added by xenoviper, I believe. The sculpt is very soft and a lot of the detail is lost on my phone camera, but the paint itself when I received it was nowhere near the standards Adam set himself with his other stuff. It looked almost like he used a magic marker on the black parts.

Well of course we are going to compare. I am not talking about whether or not you can afford Adam's. I am just dumbfounded that HT have missed the mark on this yet again.

I said it along ways back in this thread and I will say it again.

Adam sculpts Heath then jokerizes it.

Yulli just sculpts the joker.

For me HT are not even close to perfecting the joker yet. :exactly::goodpost:

This is probably why Yulli keeps missing the mark. :dunno

very nice thanks for the pic

On the new sculpt- when did his make up look like that. In the beginning, when his make up was as "perfect" as it got, the black around the eyes covered a much larger space. When did the black around the eyes look the way it does here?

that is a great head. just a shame it costs 4 times what this whole figure will cost. it's great that adam has perfected ledger's joker with all the time he's spent on it. yulli's isn't perfect but i imagine yulli not only has a ton of other projects to do, but also has licensor meddling to deal with. that's what you get from being a sculptor for a major company.

i see the point in comparing adam's head to this one on an artistic level. but sadly (as much as we may hope) expecting anything like that $800 custom head to come with a mass market figure is unrealistic. particularly for the guys who bought adam's head. what you're basically saying is you were crazy/stupid enough to pay that much for a piece of "art" you expect to come with a company's factory produced toy. doesn't make sense.

I think it looks great. I hope there is another make-up head sculpt to go with it.

I can understand people who own previous Jokers not being thrilled by this so far but since I missed out on them, I really look forward to this one.

I was curious about comparing these two sculpts, so am posting in case others are, as well. From a similar angle:

The new sculpt win, hands down. I was never a fan of the BR joker sculpt to begin with though.

Adam was only charging $300ish back then for the normal expression sculpt, 700 for the laughing and other custom expression by request.
