I'm very pleased with the head-sculpt. Very Ledger. It's not the expression I was expecting, but it's well done.

It's pretty much a remake of the slicked back Bank Robber Joker head:

I can see it clearly :cuckoo:

Yes. That expression.

People need to keep in mind that this has PERS. This expression will actually be quite versatile with them.

Also, I think this is the best PERS I've seen yet. Not googly at all.

No biggie. Thanks for trying.
I just did this in MS Paint (I'm a real amateur with image manipulation in relation to most on this board, I know). The new sculpt might be a bit distorted due to my resizing method. New sculpt looks a bit choppy due to that, as well. Not a perfect comparison as they are from different angles, and HT's using fancy lighting.

I think Avatar is right about the DX having larger pupils, though.

That being said, considering I just recently lost my job, don't think for a minute I haven't thought about slapping the figure up for sale with the BillyB stuff on it and seeing what I could get for it.

Thats a real shame. What was your job?

Good call. I never really associated that sculpt with that scene for some reason, though it seems obvious now that you are pointing it out. I thought it was just some imaginary Joker expression of how he might be feeling under that mask :lol BR slicked back head looks way more sinister than Joker actually did in that scene, though.

Thanks, man. It's something.

Got my advance pre order in.

Late to the party with the DX01, like a lot in here I suspect so eager for this!

Would love 2 headsculpts, makes sense, if you look at all the teasers they're looking at full make up joker and interrogation joker. Just don't be TOO expensive please!

Oh and I think we could see this later this year...

Yeah, the one I have is, I believe, the $300 version. I don't know what Teddy originally paid Adam, but I do know that I paid $375 for it after Teddy had the hair work done on it, and that included shipping from across the pond so I would imagine his original price was around the $300 mark.

Once his work started to take off, so did the prices. What I paid was actually above my limits, but I wanted one pretty badly. There's no way in hell I'd consider paying that much for a sculpt again, but at the time Teddy made it available, I had the cash so why not? The prices that Ledger sculpts, not just Adam's, eventually reached were just incomprehensible to me. I understand why they got there, same with custom clothing, because of the work that goes in, but my annoyingly logical nature just prohibits me from accepting it.

That being said, considering I just recently lost my job, don't think for a minute I haven't thought about slapping the figure up for sale with the BillyB stuff on it and seeing what I could get for it.

Hey Crow,

Check your PM

There is a fantastic custom and dio of that jailhouse scene and it looks just like Ledger. The funny thing is I hadn't really thought the slicked hair sculpt really resemble him that much either. Maybe someone can post a pic. He's sitting on the bench with his hands on his lap.

Thats a real shame. What was your job?

I worked at NASA here in Houston. Was the pesticide/herbicide applicator for their three local sites, about 1700 acres worth. Got blamed for an accident that was caused by a mechanical failure in my work truck, but instead of our project manager admitting he had our mechanic skimp out on repairing the trucks and equipment so he wouldn't spend money on repairs, and as a result his bonus would be higher at the end of the year, he blamed me for it and got the mechanic to agree with him, and thus, I lost my job.

This happened two days after my fiancee had to go in for emergency surgery to remove one of her ovaries that had died and was at risk of causing her to go septic. So it was an awesome week. Luckily, the Texas unemployment commission sided with me and denied my former employer's appeal, so I'm still getting paid.

You ordered the figure without even seeing the whole thing? :slap

Damn, that really sucks. Glad to hear you are getting paid though, cr0w.

Advance PRE order...

I will have a 48 hour window to cancel once full spec and pics are released.

Demand will be high, might as well get in early and cancel if I need to.

Chiiiiiiill dude.

That sucks. I hope your fiancee is okay and the employment situation work out for you.
