Too bad those who don't HAVE the figure say how bad it is- trying to convince...WHO???

Reads like that sometimes doesn't it?! It don't matter though, all that matters is I DO have this figure and its brought back ALL the joy that Raiders gave to me in the 1st place!

I am one of many here who can attest to how GREAT it is in hand and for anyone who is on the fence about this... Well it is a LOT of money sure but it is also a TOP shelf figure! I'll keep it simple for ya. If you don't have a 1/6 jones then this is the one to get with out question! If you do, then sell your old one and put the money towards this one.

And if you have a costum jones.. Then god speed! That's a never ending journey for someone who's OCD like myself. Don't even want to start down that road. Some great ones out there though!

Two days in and I'm digging Indy more and more. Of all the figures I have or have had nothing comes close to requiring the level of futzing as any Indy. It's nuts. The fit of the jacket and shirt, the hang of the belt, sag of the pants, etc, it all needs attention in order to look just right... Anyway, my opinion of the set has risen quite a bit.

YEP! Finally picked one up at Corner Store Comics. They have a few in stock still for $224.99. (COOL store by the way, first time there. Goodies all over the place.

Congrats on your purchase. It really is a nice piece. I ordered from CSC as well and just noticed they bumped price up to 250.00. Perhaps they were selling too well at 224.00.

Some daylight pics, I messed with the jacket and shirt so more :wink1:

The sleeves can unclasp at the buckle and snap back into place, but be careful, not to use a lot of force when performing clasping and unclasping the sleeves.

So I've had this guy for a few days now and so I thought i would share some thoughts. Like many have said, its much better in hand then the pictures let on. I love the complexity of the all the bits and pieces. The head sculpt is very strange. It looks like Ford but at the same time doesn't. I had the same reaction to the Wolverine figure. I think that it doesnt look like the actor but does look like Indy in the same way the wolverine figure looks like Logan but not Jackman. Also it has the look of life like so many HT figures have. I think that's where the Sideshow Indy is lacking even with some of the great customs.

One thing I am reminded of again with this figure and also the Alice figure is the fun of assembly and futzing with a figure to make it look right. With the all the armors of the IronMan line, as great as they are, they lack the pleasure of a great clothing figure and the attention they require. This makes the anticipation for Sparrow even greater because i can only imagine how much time he will require.

100% Ford, maybe not but definitely 100% Indy and lots of fun.

EXCEPTIONAL in hand pictures in natural light-THIS is Indy...looks great and looks even better in person. Well done review!:clap

:lol :rotfl

BUT... I do love Trevor's sculpt of the hat, just the shape of it...

For $250 it better be better! Though I've seen both in hand, and the SS sculpt is better IMO. If it had the HT paint apps, the SS head would be unstoppable.
