So, I was just messing around with the extra TT I'd been saving, I was going to use for my Map Room bash, and the knee joint just sheared right off. Here I was lamenting to myself how strong and sturdy the TT was, and this is what I get.

:gah:

Where's that Hot Toys QC thread?!?!?!

Hey guys I really like all the great pics of your new Indy's, with customs and without. All the photos make this thread fun to view. So here are some more of my Indy... can't wait to get my mfisher whip and belt rig for this guy. As always enjoy. :wave

Hey swsqueakquels thanks for the nice comments, I like the whip a lot better than I thought I would and I would be just fine with it, but looking at some of the custom setups made me think that those mfisher whips and belts could really put some shine on this guy. :whip

YEP! Finally picked one up at Corner Store Comics. They have a few in stock still for $224.99. (COOL store by the way, first time there. Goodies all over the place.)

Some observations:
- GINORMOUS heavy box
- Its true what many have said. Its A LOT better in hand
- The sculpt is not 100% Indy, but close enough. UNTIL HP comes up with a better sculpt :)wink1:)
- Why are these bodies SO expensive? Its horrible to pose! SUPER tight joints! I feel like im gonna break the arms off when i move them.
- I tired to do the hand on the chin pose in front of the idol. HELL no.. the arms have the articulation of a 50's robot. The closest i could get to the chin was about and inch away.
- Critiques and all, im a happy Indy fan.
- Ill take some pics on the morrow.

Apparently all DX Indiana Jones customers are completely happy with their purchase...

Here's the edited version, head over to my QC thread in General collectibles for the full post!

I work with the HT distributor here. So it's fair to say I have gotten my hands on quite a fair share of HT stuff over the years.

We got the same issue with Indy because of some bad pics and misleading info. But it's all sold out now (Indy) and all customers couldn't be more happier. Basically, everyone who complained about the price of Indy shut their mouth the moment they saw the real thing. It's a good buy suddenly.

Some of the best pics in this thread! Who repainted the hatless head Flosi? And did you Myatt™ water treat the turban? Fantastic work duder.

The eyes here really scream Ford.

That's the German Indy sculpt. I grinded down the cap so it slipped right into the turban, which I gave the Flosi/Myatt treatment to. I just soak the garment and then put it on the figure... No need to drench the entire figure, IMO.

I was actually surprised at the quality of this!!!! Glad I picked him up! Thinking about getting a second.

Threw the jacket out, (only part of the entire set that sucks) and went for streets of Cairo. Untucked the shirt, rolled the sleeves, and slouched him a little.....anyone recognize this scene???

I need to take pics in daylight! Love this figure! :rock

Pretty sure I'll end up going the Streets of Cairo look with Indy as well. Looks great!
