Well, the SS Belloq EX pedestal is now in the closet. It's nice piece, but visually it's no better than the HT one, polystone or not, and the SS one takes up too much room.

Anyone know if it's even worth trying to sell?

Really, that's good to know that the SS one isn't visually better. I really wanted it, but didn't want to fork out for it and Belloq. They should have offered it seperately like the map room. I'm happy with HT's though, it turned out a lot nicer than I had hoped for.

I used some oxy clean on a toothpick and went over both eyelids and it seems to have removed some of the guyliner, seems pinkish on the bottoms now. I also filled in his beard a bit too. Def helps a bit. This head is the weirdest to photograph and really requires a good camera to get a good shot.

War-Gar, I think the changes you have made make a huge difference! I think people are making 2 different changes to the lid, can you look at this and tell me which area you touched up?

The blue line represents just the area of the ridge of the lower eyelid, while the red line represents the ridge of the lower eyelid and the lower eyelid itself.

I think people are doing 2 different 'guy-liner' mods, and I just want to try and clarify exactly what you did to your Indy.

So good question. I "scraped" very lightly at the top of the eyelid -- your blue -- just enough get rid of the dark line I saw. The eyelid remained brown/pinkish in most places. Then I lightly sanded with a tool-like emery stick, just in case there were any rough eades or paint-chips sticking up, then I repainted over the eyelid -- again your blue. As paint goes, the brush may have gone over the red part a little, but I had such light amount of paint that I doubt it did much other than maybe even it all out.

Those little eyelashes that HT does are still there. That's what kind of makes the eyes look like dark bags in some pictures, like he's tired. Truth be told, I wouldn't mind painting over those lower lid eyelashes and just getting rid of them all together.

That's all I did. Used a magnifying glass because this work is so small I just couldn't see what I was doing with my glasses.

OK, thanks for the clarification. Yeah, I think some are just outright removing the lower eyelashes completely. I'll have to really give mine a good lookover before I decide which route to go.

I did. I used dark brown and a mix of licorice black and lots of water. I actually did a bit more since I took that photo, as I saw it was a bit uneven and a bit light in spots. I went a tad further up the cheek too. I'll post another in a bit.
