I ordered one, didn't think it was to bad, but after another gander I really hate the PERS on this.

Is it worth holding onto in case Hot Toys does another Indy that doesn't suck? I don't NEED to sell it, but does anybody think it's worth holding on to?

The set itself is awesome.
There are some customizers working on Indy sculpts right now (see the custom section).

And if Hot Toys does another Indy set it'll be one of the other movies and won't have the gloves, map room set, pedestal, idol, etc....

I'd keep it.

Regardless of them making another Indy... I imagine that the value on these will rise substantially... I'd hold it for a year or so then dump it for a decent profit... we may all have differing opinions on the quality of the sculpt, gear etc.. but in the end, it is HT.. and it is Indy.. this one will be worth something still boxed up.. and I am usually the first to be against speculating on the toy market..

Can anyone tell me if the sovereign studio jacket fits well on the HT Indy? I think a few of you might have it...a pic would be great! I'm thinking of buying one, but I want to make sure it fits and looks good on HT Indy.

Most of my pics where mine's wearing a jacket is a Sovereign Studios jacket. Mine was done with a custom made Indy that Sovereign made for me a long while ago. It fits the HT Indy very well IMO.

The other posts I've seen of people's SS jackets are specially made for the HT body so I can see that it looks more of a proper fit, but I still think my SS jacket (though it wasn't made officially for a HT body) seems to really work fine for the HT body. If you can get your hands on one, I'd say go for it. I highly recommend it especially if your going to start customizing the indy to look more like Ford. I also see that the SS jacket really captures his Raider's look more to better represent the film in IMO. Also don't let the pics fool you this is a brown jacket to the naked eye, it just seems to be darker in the photos.

I haven't even been able to bring myself to put him in my display yet. Right now, as creepy as this probably sounds, I have him on my nightstand next to my bed.

Not creepy at all!! 3 years ago I had the Predator 1:1 bust in my bedroom on the dresser facing the bed. Let's just say the GF wasn't excited about that at all.
