I like it. My only concern would be about having the suit in a semi-permanent position that stretches out the knees.
That makes sense, forgot about the whole "rubber" question. But still, at least we have those knee pads to cover up whatever cracks may appear on the knees. If the elbows crack, there's no covering it up.
The rubber seems very poseable without much strain on the material. But you've got me paranoid now. Maybe I'll try to lay the legs out straight, maybe on leg bent, as if he's laying down, passing out. Maybe that's less a strain on the suit. I'll give it a go.
...
EDIT: Icruise, thank you, you are very correct. I just checked the figure and I can clearly see the strain on the rubber. I think any length of time in that extreme pose would result in cracking and tearing. May take a month, may take a year, but it would crack -- I can already see the stress lines.
...
Didn't somebody say that the suit was made of SILICONE, and not of RUBBER, and that it was much more durable than rubber too? It won't tear, unless breached... Now don't quote me on that, it's just something I remember from one of the "adjust the neck" threads.
It was I who said the suits are silicone, and they are. Trust me, I've been making molds with silicone for 16 years- it's silicone. It won't wear out!
As a test, you can hold a lighter up to the suit for a few seconds, and it WON'T MELT. Silicone is fire-proof.
I just did the test myself. Rubber would melt. (i would never have even tried this if I didn't already know it was silicone)
As long as you don't scuff it or cut or tear it, it will outlive us all, and become a part of the Earth's crust...

Glad I could help!
Ahhhhh.... Now we have a different problem. I haven't talked about this yet, but because you desire to pose with the knees bent for an extended period, it should be pointed out.Perhaps the "strain" that I saw was indeed the paint separating at the knee -- in that line between calve and 'stitched' knee pad on the suit. It freaked me out after Icruise's comment.
But Anthrapoid, if you think I can maintain this pose for a long time without the silicone tearing, then I'd love to leave Kane this way on the shelf.
