I've been reading a bit on the Chinese toy boards. The big rumour is that it may include the sticky mine gun for Batman as well.

I am personally stoked for this figure. I got to work on this movie as a police extra when it filmed in '07. This scene was the first I worked on and we shot it for 3 of the 7 days I was on it for. Heres some pics of me in uniform. I got to wear the same uniform as Ledger so we'll see how accurate Hot Toys got with it.

He and all his goons had the Dawes name tag on.

that must have been one hell of a experience, did u get to meet heath?

The sticky bomb gun does litte/nothing for me, since it will look very uncomfortable for the tdk batman figure to be holding the gun, due to the constrictive rubber suit.

Maybe an extra batman headsculpt (alongside an extra joker headsculpt) with sonar eyes on his final battle with joker would be sweet.

out of the 3 versions of the joker released by HT,do u think this ones gonna be the best?also how much do u see this retailing for from hongkong and whens it expected to be released?
as already said i think its a matter of opinion. i'll say get the V1 and purchase the machine gun and revised head sculpt from the Bank Robber version.

Surely. The BR and the V1 are both exceptional in their own right (V1's head aside). I think most everyone has replaced the head of the V1 with the primary stoic head from the BR. I'm not sure what I'll put the head Les will be sending me onto, but I'm sure it will most definitely be display-worthy to say the least... I may have to buy another V1 for use of the body only. This figure truly does look exceptional, though. No customization is likely to be necessary, as was the case with the sterling BR heads.

apart from cost issues, I still like that their releasing this version, I'm collector, not a complainer. So this cop joker to me is still something i want for my collection.

that is way cool. you should customize the figure and make it look like you just for memorabilia.:D

Answer: No because the DP was a professional. :D

Working in film, I have to agree with that. While the media like to make Bale look bad for it, I've seen ^^^^ like that happen all the time, and it is usually the person being yelled at who is to blame.

Not the point. The word "Yelled" is the problem. I don't care what you do or how bad you screw up at your job; if it doesn't involve killing someone or potentially killing/injuring someone etc. then no one should be yelling at you. Period.

I've never had ANYONE raise their voice at me at any job I've worked at like that whole Bale tape. That tape wouldn't exist if I were in that situation because the minute it happened I would've knocked all his teeth down his F'n mouth.

Some people take advantage of their position, and thats a prime example. If you wouldn't come at someone a certain way on the street as strangers, but you DO at work because of your position: that's abuse of power.

You think Bale would've done the same thing if he was a no-name extra? Nope. But because he's the star, that's how he reacted.

That is why you are just a no-name and not some amateur DP or no-name extra working in film. :D

I have five black belts across three Martial Arts, and I'm pretty sure Christian Bale could still beat me to death.

If you make him upset, he'll find you and make you sad; if you ruin his scene he'll ^^^^ing kill you. I get what he's saying. If you've been shooting an intense scene for several hours on end, and need to continue to scrap the work you're repeatedly giving your all to ensure comes out well... all because the shots keep getting ruined due to the director of photography walking into and out of the frame, well, the man deserves to have his ass handed to him. He's right. It's not professional. Long days, long shoots, and family issues to boot, culminating with that sort of poopie. I can understand how it led him to overreact, and it's people not thinking about the circumstances surrounding a reaction like that which cause the media and public to just overreact further. There's plenty or reason to yell at people. Yelling ensures people take their screwup seriously and don't repeatedly do it again. Yelling solves problems, and when caught on audio tape out of context creates whole new ones. ;)

Just goes to show you that regardless of what the topic is, if it somehow involves a project or event Bale was, is, or will be involved in, people will bring up the tape, for a loooong time. I would like to start a topic about The Prestige, just for fun! Think of sequel possibilities! A newly-vivified Hugh Jackman breaks into a carefully choreographed dance sequence featuring Scarlet Johanson, then Chirstian Bale comes in and slaps

I didn't realize they all wore the Rachel Dawes nametag. What an awesome taunt to the overconfident DA. Cool stuff, and I hope to see him wearing the nametag.

I wonder how it would have played out if they had managed to nab The Joker at the scene.
