I just couldn't be happier that we are going to get such a great line of figures. I really wanted a Loki. I am thrilled to be able to have the chance. And for me, helmet is a must. As long as I can remove it when I feel like it.

As for Thor, I can deal with or without the helmet.

I'm still hoping for a couple of figures that I know I wont get. But I'll keep my prayers going.

Wow, I saw Avengers last night and Tom Hiddleston was brilliant. I am looking forward to this figure more than any other Avenger release. I still hope we get the "Thor" version as well.

HT said or rather Howard Chan in an interview said that the Thor movie version of Loki was canceled for the Avengers version

Yeah but if there is enough demand for it, it will happen. If Avengers Loki sells well, Thor Loki will happen. HT loves to make money so if people will buy him post Thor-hype, they'll happily make him later.

Yeah, it may be down the road but if one sells well it bodes well for the other.

Overall, I have to say I like the Avengers Loki far more than the Thor Loki. He also has the advantage of not having a recycled weapon from Odin. The only thing I'd really miss is the casket if they don't make the other version.
