2 heads (one avenging/screaming head) , no helmets

I agree. The helmet is very unnessessary. I don't get why people are so insistant on the inclusion of an accessory that is honestly not an important part of the movie character's look.

Not important to the character's look? :lol

Google Loki and see what images pop up. I don't think there is a comic pic of him WITHOUT the helmet. Its important.

Sorry, was talking about Thor. Forgot what thread I was in.

Same thing. Google Thor and see how many helmetless pics are comic pics. Its just the movie where he's not wearing it much, but its important to his comic image, so it shoule be included regardless of its film importance.

But this isn't a figure of comic Thor. Its strictly a movie figure. And in the movie the helmet barely exists. Blink and you'll miss it. From a movie standpoint it isn't at all important regardless of how prominant it is in the comics.

Ultimates Thor didn't wear a helmet. And of course, the Ultimates designs have been extremely influential on the movies (Sam Jackson Fury and Hawkeye looking much more like their Ultimates counterparts than their 616 counterparts).

Yeah and Batman needs nipples because it was in a movie. Majority of the changes in movies are for the dumbest reasons mostly because some stupid director wanted to put thier own creative flair on it doesn't make it right and its especially not character accurate. Loki needs a helmet and thats it.

:exactly:

I'm npt sure everyone is aware that tgis discussion on helmets is about Thor, probably due to the slight derailment of this thread, but whilst the subject is still fresh and people move on to Loki, i put the helmet on my Thor figure because quite frankly it covers up the hair and looks a million times better

Plus, cuz i was gonna have the Asgardian Royal trio, they were all gonna be suited and booted in full royal attire!

Now it'll just have to be father and son, i'll get Avengers Loki but i don't think he would look right with Odin and Thor since the outfit is different

Having said that i'm not sure where else he would go, my Avengers will be displayed in a triangle formation, Cap at the front, fkanked by Thor and Iron Man, then Hawkeye in the classic aiming pose, and black widow on the opposite side, so Loki wouldn't make sense there. Either way it'll be cramped

As for Hulk, well he aint gonna fit in a detolf thats for sure

He will... if he hunkers down like an ape/gorilla.... <<spoiler...

Do you think so? I hope so cuz otherwise i've no idea where he'll go!

I really liked the way he moved in The Avengers, hopefully the articulation of the HT figure will allow for such posing

My brother wants to go and watch it this week and asked me if i'll go, that'll be viewing number 4!

Avengers helmet is more accurate to the comics. It has the horns going forward instead of straight up. I like both styles tho.

Great observation. I'm all in for this bad boy.

I would buy both versions, but I am still happy that Loki is definitely happening. Perhaps if the Avengers version sells well, we can get the Thor film version, even as a con exclusive as Buttmunch suggested.

That would be greaet, I think I actually preferred the Thor version suit better so hopefully they still release it.

Shame about this because I would have loved that Casket of Ancient Winters as a centerpiece for my Thor display

Since they'll be charging $215 at least for this figure, they might as well throw in the casket for good measure.
