Its just getting old,thats all,one by one more come and gives us the same thing we have heard so many times allready,if its something thats annoying its people that keeps repeating the same thing over and over again,let us fans enjoy this figure,if you have something to say about the figure,bring it on,i dont mind hearing negative things about the figure,but when its the person himself(MJ) then i dont see any reason posting here.

Dude,
I don't like a bunch of figures that have been released, even because of the character they portray...but I don't go and whine endlessly in those threads, maybe I'll comment that I don't like it and move on, but you just don't want to let it go... it's annoying!!

Just saw abc-express listing this figure on ebay for 120$,so i assume thats the final price,abc usually have the prices right,but what i saw was that they stated that this is a Limited to 100 pieces figure,i emailed them about it,it cant be right.But im thinking that it CAN be right as this can be a test run since it is a question mark mark around the whole thing if this will be a good seller or not.
If this is the case then i understand their choice of MJ`s look,so they can give us a some badass Jackson later.

Ill let you know what abc`s response is,i sent HT an email just now as well.

Here's the thing... sometimes one can seperate the artist and the person. Michael sure will push some buttons, but so do a lot of other artists.

I appreciate his music (Jackson 5 up until the 90s) so I can overlook some of the other stuff that has since happened. I'm not really a fan of this look so its a pass, but I would buy a Thriller figure.

That is why i havnt pulled the trigger yet. If it was a Thriller figure i would have ordered it as soon as posible. But since this isnt, i have to give it some thought.

im totally grossed out that they made a figure of this creep.between his child molesting trial and dangling his baby off a balcony,pay offs to familys so they wouldnt press charges....i cant imagine anyone wanting this figure

I'm really surprised I haven't seen this a lot more in this thread (granted I've started skimming posts since they seem to be more about the man than the figure...) Personally I have no interest in buying this, not a MJ fan, either of his music or his persona (I refer mainly to the strange antics rather than any abuse allegations - dangling a kid over a balcony is about as stupid as dangling one in front of a crocodile *cough* Steve Irwin *cough*)...but I digress...as I said, no interest in the figure, but I have a huge interest in Hot Toys as a company and the things they release. This over-sized hat seems like a huge miss for them, I would have expected two heads - one with sculpted hat and one without, a la Sideshow's Indy.

Good point, Creech. Looks just fine there... definitely a historic Moment of Music History well Captured.

And the MJ Thriller version will be a HUUUGE Seller Worldwide. Nice work HT, good to see they're getting more diversified.

Ok peeps so we know some people love this figure admire the guy and some hate both so I would suggest the latter stay out of this thread to keep the off topic discussion to a minimum.

You don't like it, fine don't buy it or look into this thread, simple as.

This thread is about the HT product, if you don't like it fair enough, don't constantly criticise and bring in the persons personal life, that has no bearing here even if he is a high profile character.
