I am in the same boat, I want a Smooth Criminal version and maybe a Thriller so I'd rather not buy this one if they are actually gonna be releasing those 2 versions later on.

The thing that sucks about this is with each figure it can't simply be clothing change. The face needs changed as well as the skin tone.

Yes, it would have to be a complete new figure, no quick re-use like par example the battle damaged endo and Predator 2.

But they did it with the Jokers, so I still count chances high.

one thing about the over sized hat (oh and i'm only on here for 5 minutes... I'm taking a break from a marathon two-day wedding cake making session.... aarghhh)

the hat has to be separate from the head and not two heads, because sometimes he wears the hat straight on his head, as you or I would... but sometimes during a dance move he'll push the back up and tilt it right down almost covering his face. So you need the loose hat to be able to do that. I guess that's why it had to be a bit big. I'm fine with it

HT seems to be about 50/50 on announcing a 2nd figure before the first is released. I'm holding out for a 2nd release since I wouldn't actually want this one... so it easy for me

Although I don't think either of the Brando or Dean figure has become hard to come by yet and have been out for a while. I imagine the same could be true for MJ, even though he's immensely famous, I don't think a lot of the fanbase also collect 1/6.
