Supposedly if they are following the original ideas for treatments the entire Captain America film will be set in 1940 and end with his "freezing". His reappearance into modern society would take place in the Avengers film which is why they are about a month from each other.

You do know they bumped the Avengers film back a year, right? Thor too.

The most current Marvel film dates are:

2010:

Iron Man 2 May 7

2011:

Spider-Man 4 May 6

Thor May 20

Captain America July 22

2012:

Avengers May 4


Based on that, I'll guess at what we might see from HT:

2010:

IM IM2 armor
Black Widow
War Machine
Mickey Rourke villian

2011:

Spider-Man
Spidey 4 villian(s)
Thor
Cap WWII
Cap Modern (if unfrozen and given new outfit at end of film)

2012:

Antman
Wasp
(God willing) Hulk

Argh, that sucks they pushed the movies back. I suppose its for the best though to make sure they are good quality.

I know they pushed them back I just copy and pasted from an article from last year talking about the glutton of Comic based films we'll be seeing in the next few years. My point is that there is a lot of product ahead for them to be focusing backwards so I wouldn't really expect stuff from older films just yet.

As for Thor and Cap, they haven't even completed castings yet so depending on how much can be done pre-production those dates might be moved a bit even still.
