Believe me, I'm very sad to be losing my Pred1. He's the only one I ever wanted of all the Preds. It's the economy. Rent must be paid, and I couldn't ignore what he's going for now. Hated to do it. Had to do it. I'll be lucky if this is the worst blow, but I fear there's more to come. So, happy happy! Come and bid!

Oh I see. I understand what you're going thru. If given a chance, I'm sure you can still get that figure back if ever you come up w/ a budget in the future..mind you, the price will be really2 expensive but if you do really love that figure I'm sure nothing will hinder you from getting it right? I would suggest trying a metallic fabric paint. Test one to see first but most acrylics will eventually dry and crack on a soft surface. Fabric paint is meant to stay flexible.

I did a test. Acrylics sucks on rubber surface...:/ Like you said, the paint is cracking. Now I need to try a fabric paint. Which brand of paint do you recommend ?

That's good to know. I used acrylics on vinyl and had no problem. I assumed on rubber it would work likewise. Will look for the fabric paint as well.

does anybody know if hot toys has said anything about remaking this figure?
i would love to get an updated one!
not that i don't already love the original one, i just think if they re made it with the new methods that they are using for the super preds it would look a lot better

Just wait for Hot Toys to release their Classic Predator. They must announce it officially first

Yes, that is a nice pose. I'll have to take a shot of the pose I'm currently using when I get home later. I finally gave up on the pose of him stepping over the log...he wanted to fall and I couldnt keep him up, even though I got him to stay upright for months.

Haha yes i got him pretty expensive due to my late collecting of hot toys and to this site which i will have to spend the next few months eating instant noodles, lol

Nice pic.

I wish the spine would hang loosely from the skull. The updated spine that comes with Berserker is nice but it's still stuck in one position.
