HT original Predator- photo thread

Too late I am afraid viruz777!
I am already on to the second round of gentle hair dryer heating and placing in fridge.

I fear dreads may crack if placed in freezer so figured the fridge would be ideal.

The head band elastic is not very tight and I am being very gently and slow with the heating.
I'm drawing a DVD sleeve here so am checking progress regularly so I don't mind the slow method at all.

Thanks buddy. I have a Canon 450D. Only just getting use to taking figure photos. I've got a nicer piece of black material that I can bring home from work for future pics.

That Falconer in the background looks vampire-like. Kinda like one of those things on Blade 2.

Must say I don't get why people are insisting that Falconer be maskless when he never appeared maskless in the film. His mask was the thing that set him apart.

Even if he did have a face most would still pose him with the mask on as that's he unique appearance.

Loving the looks of the TD mask. Made me want to get one and enquiries have been made.

Hope to get my P1 soon, my most wanted predator and the TD mask will make him look that bit more accurate.

Would also like to get the ballo ultimate, OMG mask set but cant afford it. have to hope in the months/years to come they are still floating around.

No offence or preference to either sculptor, both masks are such pieces of art. My dream would be to have a 1/6 wall behind my predators full of custom bio's.

Got mine a few days ago .

I have him in a slight bent pose but I gave him a quick measure and I think he would be around 2.5 inches tall.

Love this figure so much, pride of my collection. Was my grail and reason to start collecting 1/6 but never saw him available for my price bracket.
Just need to get a few bits to finish a few other figures , then balance the books and I will be getting a TD mask.

The HT mask is OK but as a predhead I need it to be better. It will do for now as I am always thinking " TD mask soon my My Lord" .

Amid all the more recent Predator figures I still think this figure is a fantastic figure. I love this guy.

Got my P1 from ebay UK - Cost me £316 delivered which I thought was great. I was really at the point where I HAD to have him no matter the cost to the credit card.
As I posted he was the reason I got into 1/6. Such an excellent piece, despite the age he easily matches up to the newer Predators IMO.

Its just so hard to decide on a pose for him. You cant pose this guy wrong.

I reposed mine last week into the iconic roaring pose. It's good to freshen poses up.

Thats what I like about getting these "figures" over the higher detailed and priced statues. I get bored of a pose and enjoy the ability to move them around. Having a display case full of them that are able to move is great as you can really change the look and feel of a shelf with a pose or two.

A while back I had a Berserker predator choking my Dark Knight, now I have Batman watching Joker on his chair and Berserker just chilling with Falconer.

Great catch! Yeah, it's a justifiable price. Good for you, you already got the figure that inspired you to collect 1/6th figures. Such a nice feeling!
