I think what he means is...alot of people who CAN'T afford it tend to REALLY nit pick at the accuracy of an item. Helps them feel better about themselves and not being able to get something.

"Blah...blah...blah...it's not accurate enough for me to buy."

These are usually the same people with about 5 things in their collection...and most of it McFarlane crap.

And see that's where I disagree. I'm actually capable of being honest. Brutally honest, even with things I own/like. I've noticed people on here tend to get defensive (for whatever unknown reason) about the stuff they like/own. It's like as soon as they see something they like or as soon as they purchase it, NOTHING can be wrong about it. NOTHING can be criticised about it. It becomes sacred like some kind of twisted collectible deity. And that's just flat out sad.

This is a discussion board about collectibles, etc. Like in real life, opinions vary. We're here to discuss these things, positively or negatively it doesn't matter. It's all part of discussion. I'm capable of owning something WHILE maintaining a sense of reality about it. I don't get offended if I like something that other people absolutely despise. I don't take it personally. Why would I!? Why would anyone for that matter.

iunno.. people on here are weird sometimes.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out where minor flaws may lie, that's how things get improved and refined.

Would think people would welcome constructive criticism as it helps to improve their craft I know I personally do.

The problem is, there are 3 or 4 of you on here that are ALWAYS negative.

We can all pretty much count on the same people coming on here and criticizing the ^^^^ out of something. And the whole time, defend their CONSTANT negativity with the "This is a discussion board...blah...blah...blah" defense.

:duh If you look at my original post, I said '' some of you guys''..Dont know why you included yourself in this, if the hat doesnt fit you...:duh

I'm one of the most critical people on this board....But it needs to be said some people constantly bash a product just cause they cant afford it ...I'm still wondering what those people are doing on a Sideshow forum, not even owning one of their products but constantly critisizing. These people needs to return to the kiddie boards.Where 12.99 action figures rules...:lol

Completely agree.

Many companies improve their products due to constructive critiscm.

If you take Hot Toys refinements on the Dark Knight Batman figure from the prototype you can be that came from fan feedback. Otherwise whats the point of revealing shots like this, yes it builds demands. But it allows improvements, am sure the initial outlay at Hot Toys end for these figures is expensive (especially in our current financial climate) so they have to get it right first time.

there is always room for improvement, and thanks to the fans...HT correct some details so if we would have kept our mouth shut about the flaws we wouldnt have gotten as good figures as we own now.

Me personally aint picky at all,my only complaint is the black hair on Arnie which is obvious that they need to fix, anything else i couldnt care less about.Small flaws on the Predator mask or blades, dont care.

Don't even bother. I mentioned this way earlier on in this thread, but some people just won't let up.

Instead of discussion of the figure, this thread has already moved onto discussion on the discussion of the figure, like so many other threads. Hella lame.

Well, I'm not preordering from play. I see they still have the Predator Dio, HT Joker and the Indy PF on preorder and I have managed to get hold of these. The Joker and Pred I got about two months ago
