It's so awesome that there's a hand that can hold the cigar just like in the movie and his mouth can hold it too.

is there gonna be like a slit in the mouth to put the end of the cigar into it?

VERY disppointed with Billy. My second fave guy after Dutch, so a bit sad he looks quite poor.

Billy wasn't a great character, but the actor is badass.
the rest of the cast was actually afraid of him AND he was a 70s porn star. he deserves an action figure more than anybody.
i don't get the love for Arnold's character, though. Dutch is just another Arnold in camo. big deal.
i'd rather get Mac and Blain figures than these two. they had the best lines and best accessory.

It looks similar to the bust because the source is the same, and while the bust has flaws, a lot of it is pretty close, but the 1/6 head is better, especially the eye sockets.

I looked at it like this .
From the start when he first new somethign was stalking them it was like he knew this thing was going to catch them and it was near impossible to defeat.
When there running he knew with everyone else being either injuned or busy helping he was the last one left to help out. PLus if anyone left to buy some time its him since Dutch is in charge anyway. He turns , slices his own chest and is ready for battle , not a long battle obviously , but I don't think he was a ^^^^^ at alll.

I tend to agree, and although a terrible thing to say, I think this will be a mask on display affair.

On a side note: what a spectacular base he has!

Just occurred to me we're getting open and closed mandibles up front with this guy. My suspicions of a BD variant are significanltly lessening with each realization. I just can't conceive what he'd come with.

A BD figure would tentatively come with non-standard base, this has it, roaring mandibles, this has it, working med-kit, this has it. I just don't see what it'd come with that's not here.

Fan-freakin-tastic! Predator and Dutch look great. I'm so happy they fixed the Predator's torso so that he doesn't look so malnourished. The medkit is an unexpected bonus, although I'm unsure where it can be stored. I hope the laser pack is removable like the movie, but the electronics within give me doubt.

Depends on how they're shot. One misleading thing about HT photos of their preds is the depth on the heads. When I first got my P2, I was amazed at how deep the head profile is, and accurrate, compared to the phots. If they aren't lit just right, the heads look very flat.

sounds good to me. i wouldn't want buy the exact same figure with green splotches on it.

The pred face & bio helmet look just like the 1/4 bust they put out. Dutch looks OK. I can sorta see arnold.

Well there's an irony eh? considering its the SAME character... ...i would point out that the Preds face sculpt is movie accurate, unlike that 1/4 travesty.
As i say, kudos to HT for FULLY tooling up the Pred. This is the definitive version by all accounts.
Billy's likeness IS there and the skills of DA will definitely bring it out, but for me he's non essential compared to Dutch...If i knew 100% we'll get ALL the team, i'd perhaps change my mind, but as two characters who represent this seminal movie its Dutch & pred. Its like Hellboy. I'm only getting Big Red and the Premium Format. Abe is a pass...My resolution in 2009 is to be SELECTIVE

My God some (and I stress "SOME") of you are just plain insatiable! There is no pleasing some of you! The Predator is THE NICEST ^^^^ING FIGURE I'VE EVER SEEN! Not to mention Dutch looks just sick, SICK awesome!

Now before you say "this is a thread board and we should all have a say and blah blah blah fricken blah! Save it.

If I were Hot Toys reading these threads i'd be laughing my ass off in disgust!
