I think these will actually have a bigger impact.
Not in the sense that they will maybe better figures but in the sense that all the crazy kids that love predator will go mad at there mums and dads for these.
As soon as avp hit alot of kids wanted everything to do with predator , thats just another reason these will sell out so fast.
With the facts that this is a cult classic sci-fi movie , these figures will rock and there will be an actual predator I sense this is the best thing to come from hot toys for a while just along the lines with the dark knight.

Talking about selling out fast. I get paid in about two weeks, so i cannot join pre-orders befor then. Should i worry or is it safe to assume it will atleast take two weeks for these to go on pre-order?

I'm not saying it needs a repaint to look like Arnold, I just blended two thoughts together. I was trying to say, at least the sculpt looks like Arnold, which I feared it may not because of rights when they announced doing this line, and my other comment was to say I feel it needs a different paint job though.

I'm just very glad the figs turned out so well. i have been a Mctiernan predator fan for about 20 years now and waited for these figs for a veryyy long time. They look perfect to me.

I love Predator, my only issue with these is the ammount and prominence of the camo face paint is a bit too strong for my tastes, but otherwise, sculpting and figures from the neck down are superb.

Now, where is THE Predator Hot Toys?

I love Predator, my only issue with these is the ammount and prominence of the camo face paint is a bit too strong for my tastes, but otherwise, sculpting and figures from the neck down are superb.

Now, where is THE Predator Hot Toys?

They are following the same system as with the alien collectibles. First two important crew members but still no Alien so i think it's safe to say that we won't be seeing THE predator for a while.

Why would it matter? You don't have to pay when preordering at most places.

You never know what to expect with Hot Toys, the way they rolled stuff out for TDK, they may already have the Predator ready. At least with this line, the main hero is made upfront, ALIEN line doesn't have Ripley yet, they chose the route of making elaborate suit figures first to dive into the cool lights stuff, which is all good, but there are certain must characters in each line. Dutch is covered for Predator thankfully

I wonder if there's any chance of HT making a skinned body to go with one of the PREDATOR figures, maybe even the Predator itself, that'd be cool to have.

Why would it matter? You don't have to pay when preordering at most places.

I want to buy them at abc, you must pay within 8 days.

Yes they could certainly make this some kind of bigger release since it is a very anticipated fig. A tree with a skinned body or something like it. HT are releasing batmobiles now so why not release the predator ship from the title sequence.

I'm very glad for all of you who have been wanting these guys.....like forever. They really look badass!

I know RUMADMAN will have an army of these in no time for sure!

I'll have to pass these up for the NOSTROMO crew though. The light up feature is what really make them a must have for me.
Who am I kidding....I plan on getting any and all things ALIEN.

Predator? ...well... only the Predator for me....maybe.

the only question I have is where are the humans from p2? I would love to get a nicer bill paxton HS (versus what they did with Aliens hudson) and a danny glover. is there no plans for them?

I think that there will be plans when the P1 line and Alien 1 lines are done, but 'till then probably nothing.

Yeah, at this point HT hasn't made an official announcement... but, based on previous figures we should see something very soon from them.

I'm pretty sure there are official dates when things 'can' be announced due to licencing deals. Hot Toys really hasn't dodged likeness rights in a while... so I would be surprised if they back-stepped here with this series. That would be very unfortunate if they did... but eiteher way Dutch is still very recognizable.

I don't think it would matter because arnie is a public figure now... his likeness can be used anywhere right?
