I think it could be like most of hot toys figures, the sculpt is there, it just needs a Les or Darren style touch to bring it out....even Pitu LOL

Bear in mind that these are just the promo pictures, and the final paint apps are usually alot better. the prison break brothers, I think , are a good example of how the paint apps can change.

awesome news! a lil worried about the Dutch bod tho. looks about the same size as Billy's.

I hope they include a non camo Arni head too but it doesn't look it. The sculpt is not great, just okay IMO. Andy's Sculpt was better...

thats a good point. I would be surprised if they changed the size of the figure from now to then and if so thats another disappointing factor.
ave the bodys ever been changed from the protos to the official figure ?.
If Arnold is the same size as Billy thats just plain wrong.

HT's been having some issues with height lately in the POTC line. I wouldn't expect them to adjust a figure's height accordingly. In fact, it's likely that even Hawkins will be as tall as Billy and Dutch.

That may put me off.
I honestly don't like the idea of that. They were alot taller than him.
Fingers crossed they do it right.

i'm thinking maybe they don't have likeness rights?

they didn't wear that face paint in the film.

I'll get Dutch but only if the sculpt is on par with a Yulli piece.This is Hot Toys...they have raised the sculpting bar so high now that every piece they put out is expected to be flawless.

Hot Toys really hasn't dodged likeness rights in a while... so I would be surprised if they back-stepped here with this series. That would be very unfortunate if they did... but eiteher way Dutch is still very recognizable.

SS will carry them if they carry on how they normally do which I'm sure they will. They should cost the same as a predator would I would think.
But didn't the aliens marines cost less than the predators originally at retail price ?. I may be imaging things but weren't they like $85.00 ?.
