It's not really too surprising if you think about it... there's been a lot of interest in Predator-related stuff lately, with the new movie coming out and all, plus the recent releases from Hot Toys. The fairly low edition number also had something to do with it, but I think Sideshow's timing for announcing the exclusive was nearly perfect. A lot of people who missed the first P2 figure along with some who decided to get another figure because of all the optional goodies (like me) were going to jump on it anyway, so getting the bonus bio-mask on top of that was an easy choice. I'm just glad I made up my mind and grabbed one while they still had some!

Yeah, i think the limited edition number got people into a frenzy and they snapped them up, either way cant wait to see some pics of that head sculpt

..one of the best made so far, imo. The accessories is superb plus the interchangeable mouth piece

I wonder why they didn't build the respirator into the other mask...

Unless they did...

I've never seen any of the other Preds using respirators...

nah, the Pred. respirator was, so far, only seen from Pred. 2

It was pretty hard to make anything out very clearly at that particular moment in the film, but I didn't see an obvious hose, either. Couldn't really tell one way or the other, though. I'm wondering where Hot Toys attached the other end of the hose. In the pics it only shows it leading around behind his back, but what could it possibly be attached to back there? Any guesses?

Mine P2 Pred is sitting right here in front of me at the moment. There is a fairly large hole just below his medkit. That looks like a likely place for the hose to fit, wouldn't you think? I doesn't seem to serve any other purpose as far as I can tell.

I can't freeze frame it but the Hot Toys version is all wrong. The front area should not have that hose in front. There is a hose but the front part is wrong.

I noticed that the other day, the details are different, especially now that you've posted that close up of the HT figure. It's really hard to make out where the hose leads, and the scene is so brief (and dark), even freeze-framing doesn't help all that much... I tried already!
