$5 for an extra bio is fine with me. That bullet damaged between the eyes bothered me for some reason so I'll be displaying him with the clean bio

Wow, it says that the helmet lights don't work on the exclusive. That's lame.

It's especially sucky since the exclusive costs $5 more. I remember when exclusives were free just for ordering it from Sideshow directly.

That said, I wonder how hard it might be to remove the lighting from the regular BD helmet and install it into the non-BD Ex helmet cause you KNOW I'm gonna try it.

What exactly can they change on the this one? I'd hate to be screwed like so many that bought Wolf.

Yeah, that pissed me off, too, even though it didn't have stuff the first one I bought did, but I didn't piss me off as much as the P2 BD that included everything the first one did, making the first one totally useless unless you couldn't stand the crap blood paint aps.

This predator couldn't really come with anything different. He's got it all from the movie. Even a bloodied version is easy enough to do on my own. The only thing you could do is add accessories like bodies and body parts, but I can always pick up that stuff on eBay.

I ordered 1 Ex P1 with helmet to customize with lights and 2 regular preds for each mouth although I may do one with the BD helmet and realistic looking blood.

Glad I missed all the site crash chaos by brain farting the pre-order on Thursday night until after 9PM. I would have committed suicide if I missed the Ex.

I just cancelled my Exclusive order. I dont think the extra helmet is enough to justify other cheaper prices.

Also SSC just emailed me to say they DO NOT mark pakeages "Low value" or "gift" to evade customs charges. WHAAAAAAACK!!!! What kinda service for the customer is that???!!

Do it for one customer, you have to do it for all.
When you do it for all, it can no longer be claimed "as a mistake on their part" and would be seen as an outright attempt at bypassing taxable goods/duties.

Overseas DOES suck, but it's either save an individual $xx or face lawsuit and other charges.

finally got the exclusive. and yes, both masks are important to me. my first predator and the only one i ever wanted. finally. after years of waiting.

It's going to be my first, as well. I may still try to pick up a Cleaner or machiko down the road but this is THE one that I've been waiting for as well.

Silent Surfer, I was already thinking of the same thing, in regards to a possible surgical "swap" of the lighting features with the bios.

If something happens with the postal service and its marked as a low value they will only pay up to the price it was marked at. I dont think any company would want to pay for a loss which wasnt their fault.

I know of at least one company that takes on that risk. All the more reason to give them my business.

Only reason there was an issue was because the Patient Zero PF went up at the same time. If that didn't happen there would have been no issue.

It's been like this forever when they put up something everyone wants. If they did a PPO for PZ, there would have been no problems. Live and learn I guess... They do tend to make things right once they've experienced negative things.

It's true that there's more traffic on their site when anticipated items are offered through the newsletter, but that's definitely not the only reason for these annoying hick-ups. Last week, there where similar problems when Admiral Piett went up for order. It was no exclusive, didn't even have an set ES, and, I also don't think people would storm the barricades for that figure. Still, the same technical problems.
And perhaps you didn't notice it, but there where problems even when there was absolutely nothing interesting on offer in newsletter nights. It's true that SSC makes things better when they or others detect problems, so, letting them know that there are problems, can only be constructive. Gives them an idea of the proportions of the issue.
But OK, let's not get excited over this. If you think these issues are acceptable, fine. I don't!

orderered my ss ex. p1 today!-shipped to me for total of £137!! there was no way i was paying £170 from the english sites such as FP etc for a figure that probably cost no more than £40 a piece to produce!?

I've never ordered thru SSC but when I got my P2 BD version from somewhere else I got stung by about £22 I think for customs.
