I'm in asia. Is it possible for SS to ship internationally? And if so, can they mark the package as gift and lower the value?

If they can, then they get my order. But if they can't, then I'm gonna need someone from the US to buy it, then re ship them to me.

They will ship almost anywhere! They will not mark the price as a lower value, as technically you cant do that. :D

Its a shame that SSC can lose so many potential international customers over that but then again the damn thing will sell out anyway so I guess it doesnt matter!

Your right in what you say there, if it sells why change it! Customs are a pain in the a$$ :banghead

I know about high shipping costs SS "kindly" offers to European customers plus the outrageous EU VAT tax. I could have asked a friend who owns a toy store to order an Ex. for me, but for a simple bio-mask I didn't bother - I'm going to display mine without the mask anyway. On the other hand I'm quite sure we'll see a battle damaged Predator and who knows maybe that will come with the regular mask...

i hope they are not mass-producing it just because many are buying it...

It would make sense to mass-produce it if it was the final HT Pred we'll ever see and I'm kinda hoping it is - I dont want a BD version to come out after this.

Yeah I'm all for this version being the only version released. I'm sure they'll create more Predators though (similar to what they did with Machiko).

Somebody wake me up when Dutch is officially cleared and available to order.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

developing and producing figures gets to be expensive. so, the more they sell, the more $$ they get back on their investment. this one will sell like crazy.
what do you care how many they make?

Yea spare me the BD version. I mean what more can they add? BD Pred 2 was a big upgrade with every accessory see in the movie. I don't remember P1 with too many accessories in the movie. And he wasn't hurt too badly. I doubt they do something that dumb.

Sure hope so. Though my wallet will hate me for saying it, I would hate to see an end to the Predator line from Hot Toys. But what other Preds can they make? More Lost Preds?

Damn right this will sell like crazy. This is the absolute wishlist topper for almost every HT Pred collector not to mention non HT enthusiast. Even those that have long sold their HT Predator collection are hopping back for just this one. This is truly a must have for anyone that's ever even watched Predator.

And I think he's hoping for more value on it over time if they make less of them.

because the more they make the less carefully the painters are putting the detail in it. at least imo.

I don't believe that HT Preds are hand painted. Are they? I mean all the details are way too identical and clean. No smudges no smears. I would believe it's machine done. Anyone out there know the truth?

For the prices we pay they SHOULD be hand-painted.

good point. that could definitely be an issue. though i kinda doubt this will suffer too much from that.
even mcfarlane figures are at least partially hand painted and they've always had issues.
