Thats no different than saying "crazy Brits".
Nah.. "jap" has an entirely different connotation bro. Sorry.
Yes, very different. I don't think it they meant any harm by it, but it's still a pretty offensive term in some circles.
Keep in mind: it's not offensive to me. NOTHING said on the internet is personally offensive to me. But I've learned on here, we have members from all over and to some, yeah things like that are offensive to them.
my favourite part is where one of the women asks, "what's it made of?" and the presenter says, "uhhhh, plas...tic".
wrong dude. some abbreviations have been infused with a lot of negative connotations over the years e.g. "jap" or "paki". i doubt "brits" have experienced much ratial hatred in their entire history, and especially not through the use of the term "brit".
Jap is an English abbreviation of the word "Japanese." Today it is regarded as an ethnic slur, though English-speaking countries differ in the degree they consider the term offensive. In the United States, Japanese Americans have come to find the term controversial or offensive, even when used as an abbreviation.[1] In the past, Jap was not considered primarily offensive; however, after the events of World War II, the term became derogatory
