Really positive video, enjoyed that :)
There is also funny gag - Dutch stands with Elder Predator & not with Predator 1. Hot Toys knows that they look sucks together because of the Predator 1 size lack.

lol.. yeah, i have no clue what they are saying but there face expressions, makes me think they are amazed...

They appeared to like them a lot (although to be honest people on Japanese shows like this will rave about just about anything they're talking about -- these are one step away from infomercials). But yeah, these are very impressive sculpts. They said that they just have them a photo of the two guys and they did it in a matter of days. They gave the figures to the actors at the end.

I know this is a terminator thread and all, but pause the video at 3;26 in for pure awesomeness!

Cool video, thanks wookster.

McG in Resistance costume very interesting.

Ok, THAT just ruined the fun, no T2 figures, no sign of second Connor, but they'll waste time making a McG figure.

From the video it sounds like it doesn't take them that long to knock one of these out. But in any case, it's the licensing and marketing that are issues with producing T2 figures not the amount of time spent physically sculpting things. Besides, I'm sure that the cost for producing these figures came out of the movie's marketing budget. HT isn't just sitting around making these things for the hell of it.

Oh I know the reality of it, just saying it sucks to see a McG figure and only dream of figures we really want :lol

my favourite part is where one of the women asks, "what's it made of?" and the presenter says, "uhhhh, plas...tic".

Thats no different than saying "crazy Brits".

wrong dude. some abbreviations have been infused with a lot of negative connotations over the years e.g. "jap" or "paki". i doubt "brits" have experienced much ratial hatred in their entire history, and especially not through the use of the term "brit".

Nah.. "jap" has an entirely different connotation bro. Sorry.

Yes, very different. I don't think it they meant any harm by it, but it's still a pretty offensive term in some circles.

Keep in mind: it's not offensive to me. NOTHING said on the internet is personally offensive to me. But I've learned on here, we have members from all over and to some, yeah things like that are offensive to them.

Ok.I apologize for my ignorance. Thanks for your valuable insight.I am humbled.

Jap is an English abbreviation of the word "Japanese." Today it is regarded as an ethnic slur, though English-speaking countries differ in the degree they consider the term offensive. In the United States, Japanese Americans have come to find the term controversial or offensive, even when used as an abbreviation.[1] In the past, Jap was not considered primarily offensive; however, after the events of World War II, the term became derogatory

jap/japanese :dunno seriously...

Don't worry about it, Slug, there wasn't any malicious intent in your comment. :wave

no malicious intent, but no acknowledgement or remorse that he was inadvertently insensitive either - a typical reaction of someone who's probably never experienced racism. read rivera2171's last post. at least he learnt something on this thread. so yeah, he should worry about it if he's not going to apologize.
