Can I ask a question, I have one of these on order from BuddyLee. How did you attach it to the body?

THANKS

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

ahh sorry.

I'll redirect my post to cerealkeller then:

Hey cerealkeller, is that a Spenser Gordon you have there? looks great, did you paint it yourself?

lol

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Y'know...I actually like the shorter cape on him. That long cape looks great and iconic and all that; but I like the look of sportiness and maneuverability the shorter one gives him. It seems like it'd be a little more realistic to me. I can totally see Batman chasing someone with some long *** cape and tripping over it on his face...lol.

Yeah, that's the Spencer Gordon head. I painted it myself, but hate the results and soon it's getting repainted by Darkartist. It looks "okay" from about 4 feet away  However the sculpt is a thing of beauty, totally captured Oldman and his "Ned Flanders" look.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Hi everyone!!! First post here...

First of all excuse me for my english (I'm spanish!!). I received today my TDK Bats and I just can say it's freaking AMAZING. It looks much better in person than it does in photos!!!. By the way, mine is 2nd batch, and I have to say there isn't beer belly at all. I had a lot of mods planned for my bats, but looking at it now, I think I'm gonna leave it just like it is... (maybe the neck mod, someday...). I have to THANK most of you for the help given with the cape attachments, the hand pegs... (I've been reading this post for a while, you see :lol). Here's my little contribution to the thread. Sorry for the quality, I just have a crappy cellphone so this is all I can offer. Love the pose and the lighting here... See you around!!!

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Thats tight! And people say the chest looks chunky, moobs! You've made it look perfect.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I swear there's so much personality in this figure. I just got Gandalf The Grey today and was messing around with a bit, when Batman's face caught my eye in the background. It almost felt like my HT bats was scorning me for giving a figure other than him attention. Just so real.....

:rotfl Quality. I thought I was the only one who thought like that?

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I know there is already a few hundred pictures of Batman here already, but here are a few of mine just incase there is anyone who isn't bored of him yet.

I have altered it a little by widening the head slightly. Also droping a couple of coins in cape lining to add weight and pull it down on shoulders.

All the better. It's nice to see new pics. :)

As I've been losing interest lately. :/

Looks great.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

That looks really slick.

Care to share how you modded the cowl?

I cut four peices of the clear moulded plastic that Batman sits in when he arrives in his box into approx 10mm x 10mm squares. I then pulled the rubber ring out from within the head. This was easy as it is soft and is not glued. I taped two peices on either side of ring so they are two layers using minimal tape. Then pushed ring back into head making sure the plastic peices are on left and right in line with ears. It's quiet tight but it goes in. You will notice that centre hole is now oval. When you push onto neck joiner it pushes sides out a little. I feel this is a safer option than using screws as shown earlier in this thread because it does not cause damage.
