Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I'd buy a second to try the mods on if I cared enough, but like I said, for me the slight issues are 10% or less of my overall opinion of the figure, not worth another $150 just to have a few tweaks, and not worth risking ruining what I have for, I'm plenty happy.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Oh, I completely understand. Once I get the figure in-hand as well, I might not feel the need to do anything.

Since I just got friggin' laid off, I may end up having to sell the 2nd one anyway.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I've noticed since i have my figure you can move the stomach around and it just about removes the beer belly so i have not problem with mine

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Maulfan how did you get the cape to lay flat on his shoulders

I followed Bigfoot's tip on pushing the clips further under the shoulder armor til the clips were pretty flat to the shoulds instead of sticking up and that's it.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

thanks i'll try and the beer belly as you can see in my pics if you rock him back a little it pulls the suit tighter and the beer belly is gone

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Nice one,no one cares how bad the cam quality is,as long as you show us you have it and proud of it:)

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

The grey paint on the rubber suit is starting to wear off on mine. Be careful guys. I think it is inevitable though.....

can you post any pics of this by the way?Just curious...

Hey Maul Fan...

I clicked your signature, and your photos are outta this world.

Curious, where did you get the Keaton figure (Sovereign Studios)? I'm new to collecting toys/figures, and I haven't heard of this one. How old is it, and can it still be purchased, or is it long gone?

Thanks.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

And one more thing Maul Fan...how long does it take you to edit/crop your photos like that? How long does it take to cut out an image of a figure, add in the real background from the movie, add a light saber effect, etc...??

Sovereign Studios is a custom figure producer who makes the Keaton Batman.

Here's the thread regarding the figure, and the username here is SovereignStudio, you can shoot him a message about the figure if you're interested.

I really can't say, for lightsabers, a couple minutes, the rest of it, it really varies. I have limited equipment so sometimes I have to do more in the software to match photos for putting them into film frames, other times I get lucky and it goes quicker. Probably roughly 30 minutes and image for the moderately challenging ones.

Thanks MaulFan :D

Good morning, its Sunday morning here.

Decided to do a quick little illustration (with MS PAINT - yes, I have no fancy schmancy Illustrating tools/software :p) to help those haven't gotten their figures yet and want to do something about the cape.

It's not 100% accurate of course, but I hope to get my point across.

Do take note that the bit that goes into the back part of the groove where you insert the clip in is a small. I didn't really notice it at first when I was trying to get the damned clip to stay down.

As stated in my post few pages back and what MaulFan did, you might need to adjust the chest armor a little in order to get the clip to stay in place. That small portion at the back is like a hook to get the clip to stay flat.

Good luck and hope that simple illustration helps paint a better picture ;)
