The cape looks stunning like that.

Love how you've displayed the Original. Nice display altogether to be honest.

I have to say, he's far, far less bulky in person than pictures make it out to be. It was pretty surprising, honestly. I've only done the neck mod so far, but I'm 100% happy with it right now. I love this figure.

The only thing I'm not too thrilled with is the skin tone on the Bruce head. In pictures it's fine, but I think it's a little too pale in person...almost corpse-like.

Thats probably what I'll do with the Takara and put the HT head on. Does it fit ok on the Takara spike part where the hole in the head is...

Yeah, it can be a little loose depending on the position you put it in, but so long as he's looking at least slightly downward, it fits just fine.

Also, re: the cape. It's quite short, but it has a lot of mass to it. It can be stretched out to a pretty nice width...it's not readily apparently in many photos, but it's quite large.

I tried putting the original HT cape on him, and it fits nicely into the holes on the chest armor. However, it bunches up around his neck and doesn't really look right to my eyes. Plus, for some reason, the TDK suit looks odd to me now with a long cape.

But how did you get the new cape to lay so flat and behind the shoulders on the TDK-suit?

Like Maulfan and Bigfoot before him, I just adjusted the chest armor until the clip slid all the way into the socket, then pushed the protruding part of the clip back until it snapped in and laid flat against the armor.

Did you push the front of the clip in under the armor a ways, then push the back of the clip under the armor too or just tuck the front as far forward as you could.

Pushed the back of the clip under it. It was the only way I could get it to lay flat.

Thanks I'll have to keep futzing with mine then, I only got the front in more, the back is still sticking out, and clearly it looks fantastic with it all the way in, perhaps I'll do more capeless shots first though, probably a fairly hard measure to undo once you tuck it in that much.

Not really...I took mine off twice and it just popped right out. Basically I pushed it in as far as I could then pushed the tab sticking out of the suit straight back until it laid flat.

i got it all the way in and the back clipped in too, and it still doesn't lay great... It's flat but still wants to lay over his shoulders a bit, not just straight off his back, if that makes sense.

Love does pics man and with the cape as well. I also like how you customized the Takara cape on the new HT Batman.. Can u give more pics, maybe even how u did it???

Yeah sure, I'll post a few here.

Basically I had to break the "triangles" off the original Bats' shoulders and I made two little plastic strips about 1/2 inch long by just cutting up a fake credit card I had laying around. Just imagine two small plastic strips, I guess. I superglued the triangles onto one end, then I glued the other end up under the cowl's neck. Here's a crude diagram.

The red spots are where I glued.

Ok, after that I just took the Takara cape, slipped it over his neck, and just fiddled with it until it was laying right.
