Yup! Why did you ship out the first shipments then Hot Toys? You could've delayed it for 2-3 weeks and released the same product to all buyers. Man I'm pissed right now. I know that nothing has been proved so far but all this talk is driving me crazy. If true this is gonna be Hot Toys' biggest screw up. What's next? Is the next batch of Kane figures going to have the perfect likeness?

Yeah this is terrible,in the "Dealers" section which Joe started it is supposed to be an Improved Sculpt,smaller shoulder plates,more tight costume,so they changed alot.

I have to say IF this holds true I will be one PISSED collector! After the new exchange rate this item costed me $210, if or when I find out this is true HT's is gonna get a piece of my mind.
I've been looking for a good reason to put collecting on hold for now anyway. Again if true the hell with them! Just not Yulli.

I think that is a mistake. The improved sculpt, smaller shoulder plates, more tight costume, etc was in the email Hot Toys released prior to releasing the 1st batch. I believe whoever posted that just saw the outdated email.

No no no....this was from an email Hot Toys released prior to the 1st batch. The 1st batch also got improved headsculpt, etc...... Sorry I confused you.

Nice pics! Love the one where he is kneeling on the police car. But the million dollar question is....is this the 1st batch or the 2nd batch? If it is the 1st batch did you mod yours?

That's the chain from Joe's thread, however Joe is doing a poor job of clarifying for folks because he's mixing what we all know was done and is evident on the in hand figures (cowl and armor fixes, etc.), with rumors that some issues which have caused folks to do mods on their figures and HT took note and made last minute fixes on the next rollout in production.
Sounds like the only certainty right now is the mods we all know of and have on our figures.
Conclusive visual proof is needed, and that's picky because someone could mod their figure and shoot it and fake people out.

So far the only difference I can see from Magnuz's pics and my figure in hand is the ponch. Nothing more. Everything else looks the same, or is it just me?

Mine is i would assume first batch, dunno about this change thing but he came from Toys2, like most peoples. His look is only adjusted thorugh posing, the "ponch" gut that i've seen alot of people talking about is really just the usual HT body abs popping foward, and the fact that this suit has a thicker ab armor, which is accurate. You just have to push the ab on the body back in to the proper spot and straighten him out a bit in posing. The only adjusting i really did was the cape clip thing thats been posted.

Ya, the belly seems flatter, that's about it that I can tell, but it makes a different for posing. Mine doesn't hunch over too well. The paunch figures seem to have that because of excess rubber, if you press, you can feel the rubber is really thick in that spot, which, if there has been a production correction made, my guess is it was reducing the rubber in that spot.

Yours should be batch 1 then, I got mine from Toys2 also and it just came last thursday so yours and mine should be from the same run. I'm sure even in batch 1, even if there's a batch 2, there is some variation to the thickness of the rubber at that spot.
