Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Looks good Josh!

I don't think I would keep that stand around him though, might leave visible marks in his rubber suit.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Thanks! I suck at posing Batman. Didn't do a good job with the Takara one I have. :lol

Wondered about that. I may mod the stand so he can stand without it.

yeah , don't leave it like that.
A sideshow stand messed up my hot toys robocop waist pretty bad. :monkey1:monkey2 The rubber on this may be stronger but I still wouldn't chance it.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

One thing that amazes me about this figure is how the armor looks like a grey blue under flash, but in hand it almost looks like faint black. Weird how it behaves.

Really? In most of the pics I have seen it does look blueish. That is nice to hear though, because I prefer it to be more black. Batman should finally be shipping to me in 2 weeks! :D

I'll probably mod the stand just to not risk it.

This is a fatihful representation of how the colors on mine look in hand.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

That looks great. The colors are just how I wanted them in that pic. I think the reason it looks blueish in most pics is because of the flash on the camera.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Yeah, the flash is evil for that. That shot of Josh's makes me think of X-Men 1, Wolverine in his leather pants. :D

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Got mine yesterday from Joe. All i can say is amazing :rock :rock :rock One question, though. Is the rubber suit easy to keep clean?

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

The expression on his face right there yeah a little.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I joined the club today thanks to Joe. This is my first Hot Toys fig and I have to say it is awesome, even the box it comes in is quality.

Here is a pic or 3.

Not tried swapping the hands at all, im a bit worried the pegs may break. Think ill stick with the clenched fists.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Something for people to beware.

I bought 2 sets of HT flesh toned wrist pegs off ebay to put in my TDK gloves so I don't have to swap the pegs, and despite no apparent visual difference in size or anything, the TDK figure arm will not grip the pegs, so if you're thinking of buying any old wrist peg in a similar style for your TDK figure, don't.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Maul, you broke one a while ago right? if so which hand? I can vaguely remember. What is the most delicate way to get these off? I think I read here very gently turn and pull... The Joker's hands are so easy to change. Yet both Batman's are so brittle?

I broke the right wrist. I actually found my nail clippers are just the right size to grip around the wrist peg like plyers without runing the rings for grip in the arm. I broke mine just trying to pull the peg out of the hand as is though. Dropping the hand in hot water for like 30 second - 1 minute and then using something to pull it out is about the best way.
