man i love that shot, looks really cool with the bale head and ungloved hands.........different

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

Except the figure doesn't have full sleeves, i was mildly dissapointed by that cause i wanted to do the chair shot and had to photoshop the rest of his sleeves to achieve it.

Ya, I noticed this too. That's why I had to include the wrist plate.

Great job, Magnuz!

I was hoping to photoshop my own version of this picture, but you beat me to it. A damn fine job you've done. As always.:bow

There's always room for other interpretations. This is the one I'd done when I first got my figure.

Maul's looks more cinematic!

Looks as if it was for Hot Toys promo shots.

Re: HELP needed!

So I just noticed that one of my batman figures has a missing 'hook' on the right wrist plate (thats why I had to get another batman:(). And was wondering if any of you has emailed hot toys regarding manufacturers defect such as these?

I've emailed them like 2 weeks ago (from their website), and have yet to get a reply from them. Any suggestions guys?
why don't you contact your ebay seller about this....he as seller is responsible for the defects on your figure.

I don't think the ebay seller is the one to blame really. Unless the seals (those STICKY round pieces of tape) on your Dark Knight box was already opened when you got it.

If it wasn't, then it must have been something that happened during the packaging process in the factory. Those gauntlet blades are extremely fragile. One of mine popped off 5 minutes out of the box. Oh you might want to check inside the packaging as it might have fallen off during the shipping process.

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I bought it from a local toy shop. And I only find out that it was broken when I open the package when I got home.

could be due to the scource = hot toys or not. But when buying from a seller, the seller is supposed to give his client a perfect condition product. Wheter he did it, or hot toys, is actually irrelivant...

and if he had insurance for shipping he should be is certain to get something new though...

wich country you from?

Re: The Dark Knight New Costume PHOTO Thread.

I recieved my Hot toys Dark Knight figure last week (a Christmas gift), and had a chance to look over it really well. Pretty increadible, as the detailed suit does not hinder the modified True-Type body at all. It can match the Takara Batman Begins figure and has even better neck articulation!

I played with the figure so much that I snapped off the front elastic band holding the shoulder armor to the chest plate. I popped off the molded under-arm straps to see if I can repair it, and instead of gluing it down, I simply tucked the strap down under the shoulder area, for even better mobility.

Since the chest armor was removed, I took the opportunity to modify the neck and neck aperature on the body so Batman can look down. I don't think the chest armor protudes out too much at all (the actual costume I saw at Times Square TRU looked really thick), but I may have a later production run though, purchased from BBTS.
