Here's the cane. Still needs a little shaping and smoothing, but you get the idea!:D Is there anything a bamboo skewer can't do?

The canes' looking good Chris. Glad to see things are moving along, you must be very inspired by this commission.

Will Hugh's hair be removable, Just like it is in real life?

HAHAHHAHAHHAHA That's so oooo MEAN!! haahahah I never thought he had a wig... since from the show i didnt see him having loads of hair anwyayz

Actually, I find it entertaining! :D

I'm working on the handle of the cane right now......

BTW, meant to mention, if anyone has a critique or any comments about the sculpt at this point, please feel free to fire away! Go on, I can take it!

As I always say, many eyes are better.....:google

The sculpt looks nothing like Robert Sean Leonard.

awesome work on the cane!! A work of beauty.

As for criticism on the House head, first off, it is gorgeous. The only thing I'd ask is if you will be adding facial hair to him? His stubble is part of his trademark.

Cane looks awesome Chris!!!!

:rock

Man I am SOOO looking forward to having a complete House on my shelve:rock

Thanks. I'm inspired by every commission! :D

Actually, it's that I finally got through an enormous pile of commercial work, the fruits of which I'm not permitted to show or talk about at the moment, and I have time to devote to the fun stuff. Much more to come!

Yeah, i'm going to work out some stubble. Part of what makes him "House".

The cane looks fantastic! Very, very well done!

And I completely understand the stubble. You've got to get the "finished" sculpt before you can even bother with the stubble. I imagine it is really the last thing to get sculpted correct? Plus, with the sculpt finished before the stubble, you can make a Wooster that much easier ;)

You mean you'd make a Bertie Wooster custom too? lol hurrah

I wanted to from the beginning, but no one would get on board with me! :( Everyone wants House....... Ah, well, give the people what they want.

I don't have time to make one now, but one day, perhaps. I thought a Jeeves to go with him would make a great set.:naughty Of course, if there was a sudden hew and cry for them.....:D

Is that a matchstick in there?

So, I went to the local Hobby Store to buy some aluminum or brass stock to make this. Tried out a few pieces, just didn't like the feel so I looked around my tools and supplies..... nothing...... then I walked into the kitchen and rooted around in some drawers until I found a pack of Bamboo skewers. Perfect!! :D

Ooh! that'd be wonderful, I myself am trying to sculpt Fry, a modern day version of him anyway, and he is ludicrously hard to get right, still, nice to know there are other Wooster fans out there in the customising world lol

Sign me up for the cane as well. Will send the cash asap. Maybe I should start watching House. Only seen a couple of episodes. Only interested cuz of the sculpt. Always like a new subject. Chris, you are killing me with quality!

This is going to be awesome. My brain will seep out of my ears when I see the final, painted product. It will be too awesome

Yeah, sometimes the simplest things are the most effective... turned out great... I love the "wood-structure" ;)
