gonna try to make this up nice for my brother as a christmas gift. Just hope the head will be done by then so i can have time to try and paint it up and tweak a bit...

Well at the rate this commission has been moving now, you should be able to get the head near Christmas time.

5 months is hardly a long time when dealing in custom work.

I agree. Things happen in one persons life. A company always has back up and other staff to carry on the daily grind. A solo act has to do everything and only have themselves to rely on. An update would be nice to quench our thirst for this sculpt, but that isn't always possible. I certainly don't want to be amongst those that have to eat humble pie for being insensitive to what amounts to countless possibilities that might set this project back.

If I can wait nearly 12 months for Ironman Mk3, I can wait longer for a custom job. It's not as if it's the only sculpt on Mr H's agenda, or there aren't other people waiting for his work. I'd rather it come out of the artists creative spirit, than from his necessity to placate the troops.

You got to remember these custom sculpts take a backseat to Chris' real sculpting jobs. He's got deadlines to meet with those and apparently a mountain of work lately (which is a good thing really since its Chris' main source of income). He gets to work on these custom sculpts when he can. Yes, it sucks it takes so long, but you can't rush art.
