Having seen the Hulkbuster in person i say the paint apps are Fantastic. As good as the Classic Iron Man Comiquette and the Iron-Spiderman!!

I really do not think you can compare bowen and sideshow...bowen and hard hero used to work for comparison (kind of). but every co. has a unique styles.

To compare a bowen hb to a sideshow hb is almost impossible. the scale alone ruins comparison.

F n A. That's exactly what I was thinking.

Sure Tony's head looks smaller than the Hulks, but were they supposed to be the same size? If you think about it, the Cap PF is out of scale with the hulk because Cap would/should be smaller than the hulk. Scale isn't an issue to me on this piece.

I may have a slight issue with the actual physics of the piece though, meaning where the hell is Tony's arms/legs end in the suit? His feet would be in the HB armor's crotch.

There is always going to be a comparison. The best advice you can give any collector is buy what you like and don't worry what other collectors say. Since Bowen has been a leading light in this industry for many years SS will be seen by his fans a young upstarts with everything to prove. SS may never be legitimate to hardcore Bowen fans. That's okay. Fanboys are over rated. I collect both and I love both. Cannot wait to add the Bowen Spidey Rogue gallery to my collection along with Terrax and Nova. I just cannot see SS producing these in the near future.

Bez I think it's unfortunate that you state that the SS HB looks like a cheap toy. It totally negates your whole argument for Bowens (which is excellent BTW). One could argue that while Shai migt be a SS fanboy (if you read more of his posts you couldn't be further from the truth) and you are a Bowen fanboy. Maybe your not but to insult Pablos work looking like a cheap toy is unbecoming.

i agree, i collect bowen, ss, and hard hero..my favorite line is hard hero. wish it never went the way of the dodo. I remember when everyone hated on people that like the HH sculpts, but in the long run it doesnt matter.
