MFoga, it doesn't matter if it was mistaken identity or not. Even if it was him he still has due process and if he was not threatening the officers then they had no business opening fire on the vehicle. I didn't watch the video but I'm guessing it didn't say that shots rang out from the vehicle or it was heading towards them trying to run them down. So with the facts as they are now, even if it was him, they cannot execute him for being a scum bag without due process of law.

Because any time an officers weapon is discharged there is an investigation.

Are you saying that the Chief is lying? If you have been around cops enough you would know they don't tell media anything if they truly are investigating. They will say something along the lines It is still under investigation and they leave it at that. That goes for Firefighters/EMS/Police they ALL do this and is what you are taught to do.

The law doesn't work that way and thank God it doesn't. You cannot execute someone over words. Damn man if that's the way you think it should be then welcome to Nazi Germany or Communist Russia.

But it should be over it was determined ti was mistaken id based on many people thought process. What more could they learn? It's case closed.

Actually cops aren't here to KILL people. They aren't supposed to shoot to kill. They are supposed to neutralize the suspect. So opening fire with 20-30 shots on innocent civilians should have never happened. That is not trying to neutralize the situation. That is shooting to kill.

Well he actaually say we believe its a case if mistaken identity. Why would he say that? He has to make a comment of some sort but also never says the exact reason.

they are trained if they are to open fire they are to shoot for center mass which is likely to be fatal.
