That's what gets me when some people say only military and police should have access to firearms. Some of these people I wouldn't trust to shine my shoes let alone protect my or my families life.

So are you making a case that's it okay for the drooling, untrained public to have firearms, or making a case against it?

I watched a clip online from ABC news and this psychologist analyzed his manifesto: He pretty much said he was narcissistic, disturbed, and possibly suffering from a personality disorder, but is not insane; and that he knows EXACTLY what he's doing.

I am in no way affiliated with law enforcement at all so take this at face value. It's my understanding that police officers cannot discharge their weapons unless they feel they are in immediate danger.

Yeah I think I saw the same one.

We know that he's not fully all there in the head, but the cat knows just what he's doing. If they don't find him by the weekend it's going to be a little bit before they do.

I think he might have burnt his truck so that other innocent people don't get hurt by the people at are suppose to protect and serve for them. Plus the burning of the truck throw them off what kind of car he might be traveling in now.

The majority of gun owners are responsible law abiding people. Just like this ex cop there are people who give all gun owners a bad name. I guess I'm making the case that responsible gun owners can be just as trustworthy and safe as a trained police officer or soldier.

ETA My stance on guns is known on here. I've never been secretive about it. I am off topic so enough of this. Have a good day.

The thing is cops should not be shooting at trucks with out idenification. How would you feel if a baby was in the back seat and it was shot and killed? Would you still have the same belief that you do now? No cops should be firing under any circumstance if they do not have a positive id on the person. What if your family was the one that was shot up in the truck? Seriously just because people are against them shooting up trucks that are not even close to the trucks Dorner lives does not mean they hate cops

We see it happen on these forums with some Mods. Just imagine what you feel like when you think you're above the law and you're licensed to carry a gun.

As much as people tend to **** on cops for their conduct, i can equally say i hate how communities act around them(mainly poor ghetto prajectz), someone gets murdered and no one will help to provide any information on the person(s) they are looking for..any other civilized community will provide any information they can usually.

That **** happens here all the time, its ****ing childish...you want less attention from police then start helping to clean up your cesspool neighborhoods.

What it was him and they waited and failed at their job? What would you say? If you "know" more about what happened there then anyone else you can comment but if not maybe wait for an real report. Hindsight is always 20/20. Honestly if they were truly driving slowly down a street with no lights on they are partially responsible IMO and if they had a baby in the care it tragic it happened but wouldn't change my opinion that it was warranted in the officer who were actually on scene felt it was warranted.

I'll take a dead cop over innocent women trying to make a living murdered by the police because they they "got ah-scareded" every day of the week. Not to mention the fear and distrust that instills leading to why no one helps them or trusts them to clean up the community as Valfar puts it when they are doing more harm then the criminal they're after.

Driving slow and forgetting to turn on your lights doesn't warrant a ****ing firing squad.

I agree! Thanks for the explanation. That's why I worked hard as young kid to get out the ghetto. Because I didn't want to have to subject my kids having to grow up in a place like that. I just seen a lot as kid and it not a place a kid should have to grow up.
