My wife is the one that taught me that just because I have a dollar in my pocket, I don't have to spend it.

Whatta douche.
If you don't have an Emergency Fund, then put this money in the bank NOW!!!!
Imagine if you put this $600 away and then keep adding to it, after a while you will a nice little chunk of change saved up.

I don't get threads like this. I came into some money and want to blow it! Its like a drug addict looking for their next fix. Save that ____!
Well I certainly understand the wanting to do something nice for yourself; but in the long run saving so you aren't so strapped is certainly wise.
Of course! But if you have money and don't know what you want then you shouldn't need anything if that makes sense. Why look to buy just to buy. I only speak from experience. I used to be the same way. Damn how dumb that was too!

Sorry Bam! I misread! If thats the case then go on a vacation. I have found material items just don't matter. If it's not enough for a full on vacation then take your friends out. Your treat of course. Have fun with it. You don't need to buy or own anything. Thats just my opinion.
SDCC 2010
It's only $600 bucks ...so it's not like it's a fortune (I mean, It's a fortune for me...but I know there's alot of ballerz out there that think thats pocket change )
So here are my ideas:
- Buy a Flat Screen TV (i still don't got one yet )
- Buy an affordable Laptop
- Put it into my Eurotrip Fund (I got $500 so far)
- Buy a bunch of cloths (i need some new ones since I haven't gone shopping in forever)
- Buy a Playstation 3
- Take a vacation
I was thinking about that....but:
1. the tickets are sold out
2. although $600 would help for teh journey...it's not nearly enough for the whole ride
So I'll keep on saving for 2011!
Hmm, this is a tough one.
I would narrow it down to one of the ones in bold:
I have the same problem with clothes. I hate clothes shopping. And I put it off for ages. If you got the cash, clothes shopping is probably the most practical choice.
The ps3 is awesome, but if you need a HDTV first, it's really not an option. (Sorry if someone pointed this out already.)
A ticket can be taken care of.
BuffyGirl is moving here so we can ask her if you can crash or I am sure a fellow freak would help out.
I'm already room sharing with 3 others or else I would say come on out.
As for travel costs - someone here has to know where to get a great flight deal.
Then it leaves spending money. Every year I have gone, I have never spent more than $300 there.
We should start a "Let's Get Bam to SDCC 2010" thread and see what we can raise and/or who is willing to help as well.
