I just noticed that Faramir is now #1 on the main site's most popular products list. I know it's only for a little while, but seeing him there brings warm feelings to my heart.

Me too. Everybody should have the chance to enjoy Faramir. I just finished reading The Two Towers again, and can't help but love the character Tolkien created. I think Faramir demonstrates just how good people can be and how strongly one's principles can endure. Ever since I first read the books so many years ago he has been my hero.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am most exceedingly happy for you. Faramir is the single most anticipated figure I've ever awaited. And I still gotta wait through Boromir just to get to him!

My Legolas exclusive converted a few days ago, so I'm crossing my fingers that my streak remains and I get Faramir and Boromir converted too. I also signed up for Aragorn but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Yeah I don't know if Aragorn will hold out, but Boromir and Faramir will totally convert, I'll bet good money on it (well, I don't gamble, but you get my point ). It's far enough ahead of the game to have confidence in it; I got on the waitlist for Kit Fisto a few weeks before he shipped and still got one.

Besides, Faramir is too wonderful to miss out on. After the joy of getting the Legolas and Aragorn exclusives, I can't imagine missing out on more. I've got all four exclusives lined up so far.....

In fact, at the rate this line is going, and the absolute love I have of it so far.........

Could I possibly be becoming a completionist of a toy line? Could this be the line that I was meant to complete? I've always dreamed of having a complete collection of something, and these have been my favorite figures ever......It's slow enough for me to handle, and after all, I'm a LOTR fan before anything.....

lol. i really dig faramir in the book and he is probably one of my favorites (in the book) but as far as the movie goes i thought sean bean was friggin' great as boromir. i've always been partial to him anyway for things like patriot games, the sharpe series and bravo two zero (and now the hitcher remake) and i think his portrayal of boromir was just top notch. the brother dynamic b/w the two in the movie was soooo well done especially with the constant hawking of denethor (john noble...also wonderful) and made up some of my favorite scenes...the taking of osgiliath in ttt, faramir sitting holding the horn remembering, etc etc.

OK good. I would hate to have any Faramir haters around here. That would be sad. Kind of like Faramir's role in the movie was before they saved him with the extended additions and ROTK.
