I think either way you can't lose. sideshow piece are great but have their cons as well. same goes for bowen. But in the end you'll be able to get characters that sideshow more than likely will not even touch.

I had all the full size Bowens,...sold them recenetly,..made lot's of moola and bought every single SS Marvel i wanted :chew
Bowen just can't compete with Sideshow,..
Sideshow put out the definitive versions of the characters...
,..the only thing Bowen is better is in the display friendly department,...
other than that,..Sideshow owns tham all!!!!

..to a toy dealer here in Montreal, yes even The Hulk PF....I'm going all Bowen as of now..The reasons : They display better,are detolf friendly, less expensive, more choice of characters, Bowen is not afraid to re-visit the same characters if a new sculpt is needed and now Sideshow distribute them for international customers like me.... The Planet Hulk imminent release was the final straw....Bowen gets my money from now on....



So long Sideshow and thanks for all the giant brown shipper boxes...

I have myself thought about doing the same thing but I love SS's PFs too much to give them up.

Thanos is without a doubt one of my favorites. Just make sure you get a chrome SS to go with him. Two of my favorite pieces in my collection.

Bottom line: it is Sideshow's line to mess up. Bowen can't take away the lead. As long as Sideshow has Pablo and the Gore Group there really is no reason to quit Sideshow Marvel for something else in my book. Now, if those guys left I would seriously consider quitting the line.

Just cause some board members on a SIDESHOW board think Bowen is inferior means nothing.

For you folks that think Shai doing something outlandish here, you may be a bit sheltered by hanging out here at the freaks board. In the comic collectible community, Bowen has been around for a long time, and is still just as popular as ever (just maybe not so much on this message board). Most of the customers at my LCS are mainly Bowen collectors.

Another thing that I like about Bowen, is that their sculpt are exactly like their comic counterparts...While Sideshow have extremely nice sculpts, sometimes their realistic approach to the medium doesnt fit the comic interpretation I'd like in a statue.
Both companies are awesome, but now Bowen is more what I'm into.... Of course, if Sideshow ever release a Thanos PF or a WWHulk on throne ....I wont be able to resist...
