The thing I understand about cops is, most of them really don't like it when other people try to tell them what to do. I think that's why they became cops -- so they can be the ones telling other people what to do.

So the cops are too busy to investigate real actual crimes, but they have time to put up sting operations and give people driving ticket. I called my local police station and told them this and told them that this is why people hate cops and they just hung up on me. Just had to vent a little bit.

I know what it looks like but I can say there is a reason for having someone doing one thing instead of investigating. There are different divisions traffic, investigations,etc.. If a person is just giving tickets then there are a traffic cop and will not get called to do an investigation. Also the thing is they can only take a report and maybe dust for prints, not a lot they can do after the fact and nothing will change if they show up in 5 minutes or 5 hours. If there is no injuries or anything like that its going to get rated it priority accordingly. It sucks that they were robbed but if no one was hurt thats the main thing.

The main reason Simi has such a low crime rate is due to a few factors, one there are a ton of cops who live there so that helps, but also it has to do with the way they report crimes. Agencies can report crimes differently to adjust statistics and make the city look better and Simi is notorious off doing this.

PS calling and yelling at the cops is not a great idea either they do have caller ID and its works different then regular caller id normally and they can see all numbers and names.
